Because Xinh at its best is pretty much on the same level as official, but then they do something like this. I don't get it. i don't have any experience with printing on plastic but i think they use a kinda of inkjet printer there... as on every inkjet printer you don't have pure colors but a mix between some CMYK dots, in low resolution some of colours still looks decent (like on that spidey) but some others looks horrible... I bought that Lighting Lad yesterday, if the figure really looks like that, i will open a dispute to get my money back. it's really disappointing from xinh

But compare the zoom figure we say to the Flash and RF pictures we had now. they're so different and yet should look almost exactly the same. I seriously don't get it. Hopefully someone will release more photos and we'll see if it helps. The quality of the renders of the Harley matched up pretty well with the Speedsters but it looks like the final product leaves something to be desired. The Flashes almost look like low quality digital prints You mean the flash torso from SY269? Because that's still very much a Barry Allen design rather than a Jay Garrick one. As for Pogo Harley, IIRC photos came up a couple weeks back at the same time as the suicide squad joker ones. I think they look mostly alright, but there's very little contrast on the body so her midriff looks more white than flesh coloured. I suppose the SY222 is a bit closer, but its not cheap when you consider it wont come single sale, but it is the closest premade you could get and with some creative brasso use you could get closer. I remember the POGO SS joker, don't remember Harley, i'll have to look around a bit for it.

I guess, but to be honest my artistic ability is fairly nonexistent so I guess I can keep trying. Ideally I'd go for a JSA Jay Garrick with the upturned lightning bolt which would be tricky to find. I suppose I could make it myself if I can get the parts.

I just received a set of ten of the Imperial Royal guard figs and they were beyond bad. palandir Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 I have a question about old bootlegs and especially Supergirl : I'm trying to inventory a little and I don't know what to do with a curved torso supergirl : I'm getting the impression the original Xinh 164 has a "regular" torso while Decool 200 had a curved torso, but you can find lots of images on AE quoting xinh or 164 but with a curved torso and it confuses me. Do someone have a reliable reference picture for those figs ? Is curved torso only by decool or did xinh did severall batches ? I know AE sellers are not accurate/reliable when quoting the number or brands, so no AE picture can convice me, especially "generic" pictures everyone copied from the manufacturers, very few at the time were taking real photos and even if they do how can you be sure they send what you ordered : how many here already complained of mixup between lele and lepin articles ? I cannot tell the difference either between batzarros and collectors from those brands, if they are not anymore in their sealed bag can you tell the difference between a xinh and a decool ?

The one LEGO touch we have agreed on is having our guests build themself a minifigure as a wedding favour. We're going to provide each table with a selection of legs, torsos, heads, hair/hats and accessories. We're also going to give them a base for their minifigure, with the occasion and the date on it. As such, I have a couple of asks: 1. Can anyone recommend a good, cheap sets of figures or parts? The problem I'm finding with the bootleg superheroes is that they tend to have angry expressions which (hopefully) would be out of place for the wedding. Particularly need some variety in hair (especially female). Yellow or fleshy works. 2. If any of you have any spare minifigure bases that you don't want/need, I'd really appreciate it. I'm doing my best to amass enough of them (by purchasing lots of bootleg minifigures) but we need quite a lot to cover all of the guests and allow for some spares. Happy to cover the cost of postage. I'm looking for these kind - unfortunately a lot of mine have logos on. Thanks
