Did anyone other than SY copy Darkseid Invasion? And has anyone got an Airport Battle yet?

Lepin did an airport battle but if you're looking for decent minifigs or printing then look elsewhere. I think either Decool or Xinh have announced they're going to do it, but no sign yet as far as I know.

Sorry they were 2 unrelated questions. I haven't seen any reviews for the Lepins Airport set is what I meant

I'm always one for trying to save money online. The other day I installed the Topcashback browser add-on which pops up and reminds me when sites offer cashback. Went to aliexpress this morning and the darn thing pops up! Who'd of thought that after all the money I've spent on AE I could have been getting cashback.

Did some digging and, for UK people, Quidco offers the best rate of 7.5%! Below is my link. Yes it is an affiliate one, so I hope I'm not breaking any rules, but it's set so the referrer reward is split 50/50 so everybody gains.:)

(non afiliate link for anyone who would prefer it: Quidco)

Topcashback in the US offers 7%. Not sure if there is anything better there or what's available elsewhere in the world.

This may just take the sting out of the pound's crash.

I've just signed up so thanks for that.

I must admit I've had a shopping basket full of stuff on AE for a while and I keep going back to it to add or remove stuff.

The Harley which has the painting on the hand and neck etc is now there as the actual figure and it's terrible. The torso is almost completely white and the print is awful. They've managed to print the neck various colours though but the original hand painted version was basically her choker collar with details whereas the actual printed figure is just a blurred mess. 70p saved there.

I had the SY mech with their variant of the BvS Superman suit but it was £10 and I'd be throwing away everything except for the suit so that's been deleted.

New 53 Poison Ivy is also another no-go. I'm waiting for my Christo version so I won't bother with that even for potential parts.

I have a request:

Me and my fiancee are planning our wedding, and despite both being geeks we're trying to reign in the LEGO/Marvel/Harry Potter/Disney/Star Wars theming. The one LEGO touch we have agreed on is having our guests build themself a minifigure as a wedding favour. We're going to provide each table with a selection of legs, torsos, heads, hair/hats and accessories. We're also going to give them a base for their minifigure, with the occasion and the date on it.

As such, I have a couple of asks:

1. Can anyone recommend a good, cheap sets of figures or parts? The problem I'm finding with the bootleg superheroes is that they tend to have angry expressions which (hopefully) would be out of place for the wedding. Particularly need some variety in hair (especially female). Yellow or fleshy works.

2. If any of you have any spare minifigure bases that you don't want/need, I'd really appreciate it. I'm doing my best to amass enough of them (by purchasing lots of bootleg minifigures) but we need quite a lot to cover all of the guests and allow for some spares. Happy to cover the cost of postage. I'm looking for these kind - unfortunately a lot of mine have logos on.

Thanks

Speak for yourself, I'm pretty chuffed this is coming out! :sweet:

Each to their own, the Lone Ranger showed us that even terrible movies can release good sets.

On a separate note, does anyone know where I could get a cape like the below image? The only official one is part of Darth Malgus so costs £10 a go, but maybe a custom part maker or bootleg figure might have it.
