What a weird set. Trouble is I still want the clone of Lego Deathstroke in SY510 but already have two of the Lego set. Why couldn't they have put the Blob or Kingpin in this one?

On a plus note, Batcave arrived yesterday. Kept my son quiet for a while. Nice set for just over 20 quid. Kurse is nice, despite the funny feet.

I have found this seller to be better than even TT toys http://www.aliexpress.com/store/1996310/search?origin=n&SortType=new_desc

quick delivery and really eager to solve any problems, so just thought I'd throw that one in to help :)

I placed my very first Ali Express order with TT Toys last week. Is there any feedback that people can provide from buying from them? I see their pictures used a bit through this thread so thought they should be ok.

Globally the feedback is correct and it is probably one of the most trusted seller.

But "most" is not "much" : you might expect to have some missing items if you are not lucky, but at least they deliver the rest and as soon as you complain about any missing item they'll settle correctly.

The main reason why there are so many pictures is that, this seller is one of the few that actually replace any commercial/computer generated visual by a real visual as soon as he has some in its hands.

The real visuals are sometimes very far from the box artwork, hence our interest for "real" pictures.

And since this seller is one of the first to put actual shots online, it is mainly a timing reason why its pictures are posted here.

You could say that the visual has nothing to do with the caution of the seller, but on the other hand a seller taking care of taking pictures shows he at least cares a little, which is not the case with all AE sellers.

Having a seller using its OWN pictures is somehow a guarantee that you'll have what you asked for :

- it means the seller had at least got one and it is not just a catalog (some of us are only ordering when we are sure of the availability, waiting 20 days for delivery is long enough, waiting 40 because the procuct was not available is not very attractive)

- it means there are less chances that they switch a brand for another for the same character (who would want an uggly lebq minifigure when there is a shen yuan ?)

By the way Megao and T T Toys are the same, and they usually take two sets of pictures, one frontal pic for megao one 3/4 side for TT and that view is more interesting to have a global feeling.

They're one of the larger stores. There will occasionally be slight mistakes with your order, e.g. missing figures, or vary rarely the might send the wrong package. Generally it works out fine, but on the relatively rare instance that something doesn't, Aliexpress is usually pretty good at stepping in to get you your money back.

As a general rule it's best to not but in too big (or varied) an order with one seller at any one time, just in case you get unlucky. The clear majority of my packages from T T Toys all work out just fine though.

Are you kidding me?! I LITERALLY just bought this set (and all the others) on Aliexpress yesterday. :/

I was about to do the same so I sympathise with you.

But today Abomination for third of the price, so glad I waited !

Ooh wicked!! :D so from the looks of it, Sy might likely bring out the other big figs, and mix them with a random selection of figures from the larger sets. A clever way to make people that want all the figures from the set, either buy the main expensive set, or buy multiple figure sets to get all of them. Like Ms Marvel and Hyperion are in this set, but to get Space iron man, and space captain america, a person might likely have to buy another set. And so on for each range.

Also could be a marketing trick to see which sells better. Like if this flies of the shelves and the big fig in the bigger sets didn't help sales, then they know not to use the tactic in future.

Btw my Rancor arrived today, like a number of other people :) Overall am pretty damn pleased with it, although there are minor scuff marks (which I buffed off without too much effort) there were minor plastic marks (white) which I touched up with a bit of paint. The jaw doesn't lock into the two positions, although I found bending it inwards carefully so as not to break it, allowed the nodule to lock into atleast one of the indentations.

The teeth are moulded slightly differently than genuine lego.

So I'd say 95% identical to actual lego. Really good for £4ish including delivery compared to £40 bricklink price. 8-) Let's have the Wampa next, Pogo!!

I just wish they'd start spitting out DC big figs too

I think if these ones prove profitable they'll probably start on some DC ones too. After all, they're running out of bidfigs from the Lego Marvel Superheroes game. That said, they might go the Lego Marvel Avengers next which has its own set of bigfigs.

Come on sy give me a blob in a figure pack.

I think if this wave sells well enough, they'll likely start making more waves with the other bigfigs they've done. But bear in mind I have no insider knowledge so that's just a guess on my part.

One of the most popular sellers of the UCS Falcon (based on apparent sales) says at least another 10 days until the product will be available to ship.

Hmmm. I wonder if the price will go up or down when this happens.

The price *is* good... I have to do this... I'll work out the logistics of where I build it later!

Robin is a copy of the OLS version of the Robin memorial from the BvS Batcave.

Saturn Girl is a rip from the Lego Cosmic Clash movie, no indication it will be a TLG figure any time soon

What colour is the hair of saturn girl? It looks a little greenish, but maybe my mind is playing tricks on me.

It does look slightly off in colour. Perhaps that's just the picture, but worst case you can get an official version of that piece in the right colour.

Looks like the same dirty blonde that POGO used for the suicide squad Harley.

Awesome, thanks for your very informative post, and to the other couple of people advising their experiences. I doubt it is something I will get into on a big scale, so it is good to know that I should be fine dealing with TT Toys. I will advise when they arrive and the condition for future reference :)
