Robianco Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 I think it's only a matter of time before we get a Colossus. All of these figures are copies of a custom bigfig maker and the Rhino and Juggernaut just confirm this.
jangosolo Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Ooh they'll be great, thats the sort of stuff I want to get my hands on, though I am sure the customiser is delighted(!), I've seen them listed for circa £50 on ebay, so those days will be over! Not sure if Colossus should be a big fig to be honest, I'd rather have a minifig, though I am quite happy with my MOC, I wonder what the mystery figure is - I find the teasing infuriating!
Robianco Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 The mystery fig is always just Decools way of saying there'll be another wave coming. There's not normally a mystery fig for the wave as it implies. Yeah... Those £50 for a custom bigfig days seem to be long gone.

I still think it'll be about as good as we could have hoped but time will tell. The bigfigs looks like they're copied from Warsman who is a member here: There's a link to his figures... He also did the Hulkbuster and Venom. Who knows what other figures of his that Decool will copy from his feed. It's a shame... He won't get any financial reward for his work from these bootlegged versions but he should at least get the credit for the physical creations. I don't have the games so I'm not sure if the designs are taken from there or not but either way he should at least get a mention.

If they put them up on eBay Im betting the bootleggers will buy one and make a clone of it, then sell it. Its a shame that someone's hard work can be so easily copied and mass produced but I guess that is just the price of doing something in the information age.

I copied Agoodfella's minifig Juggernaut and still think it looks great but the bigfigs all seem to be from the games so it's ice to get these... Al least they're not just random designs plucked out of the ether. If nothing else they're giving people what they want... I've said it before that if a bootlegger just made game design figs they'd do very well indeed!

gavralcraw Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 I had some pictures of the Lele goblin king bigfig on flickr but got rid of them. I wasn't that impressed - the moulding was very poorly joined - big gaps. It's not up to scratch to the Decool or SY IMHO.
