ClickDastardly Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 I was watching my son put stickers on some Decool TMNT skateboards at the weekend, it was great to feel like I didn't need to intervene like I do when he puts stickers on Lego! Then I spotted the bad guy's (don't know his name) silver Skateboard and had the idea for this Silver Surfer picture, which then gave me the idea for the next shot (I'm easily amused)... Love these!! I am easily amused too!! Thanks for sharing!!

Praiter Yed Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the positive feedback on the 'Budget Super Hero' pics - I think I could do one more. @Adnan - The Minimate Groot works surprisingly well. I always think Minimates look pretty cool but have managed to avoid buying any - I don't want to cause a new addiction! Nice to see some good quality pics of Rhino and Juggernaut, I've no doubt that I will buy them next year but personally I would prefer to see these characters as minifigs. Borex Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 I'm not sure on his face either, but chances that we're getting a tlc juggy are really small. And a comic Rhino, maybe even smaller. So i will purchase this, like every other marvel superhero the clone brands produce and tlc won't.

Robianco Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 I got 2 sets through yesterday from AE and the print on all of them is excellent. One of the heads on the ZEA was a little lower than the other and thus wasn't ideal with the mask but I've taken the good one and I'm now using it with the SY ZEA figure so that one is bow boxed off! The print on all the others was good... the silver printing on the Batman Begins is much better than the SY version and I think it's very close in weight of line etc to the original although the original uses grey ink instead of silver.

I doubt Decool or SY would release Rhino as a minifig but I believe Juggernaut will just a guess. The Juggernaut seems weird, his head seems to bulbous :/, Rhino looks to basic, if I would buy them it would have to be at a good can't pass auction price.

Why would one want a juggernaut or rhino minifig instead of bigfig? That makes no sense. Unless you dont want any bigfig at all. Rhino imho looks great. Just like the comics. He just has a plain outfit. Rhino is cool

Sabbath Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 (edited) My Dargo set (Ultimate Spidey, Armored Spidey, Nick Fury and Deadpool) just arrived. If you're buying it for the figs, save your money. Maybe I've been spoiled by Decool and SY, but the quality of these figures is terrible. In fairness, the printing is well done (even if a couple of the faces are a bit low on the heads) but the plastic, colour, and sizing is BAD. Hands barely fit in the arms which barely fit in the sockets. And even in the same set, 1 fig had a different style of leg connection to the others (old Decool style connection) Also the chests appear to be cut off a sprue, very sloppily too. On the other hand, I gained 4 sniper rifles, 2 pistols and 2 walkie talkies from the set. Also they shipped with cards, 2 of each. It's a shame, I was really excited for these characters.
