Colossus Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I can't wait to get my mitts on this Rhino and the Juggernaut bigfigs. Seeing how the jackasses at Disney are putting a stranglehold on any X-Men merchandise, I gotta get it where I can.
wilson3a10 Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 So far the most beautiful big fig is venom
strangely Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 (edited) Also the body lacks texture, just seems a little plain compared to the awesome Thing we've had. Yeah, the shiny grey plastic doesn't look very good on that, that seems to be the big problem with these bootleg bigifgs. Lego uses really nice plastic, that even without texture looks great, the bootleggers have yet to get that right though. The printing is obviously lacking too, it looks a bit too washed out, though that could just be a printing error. Edited December 9, 2014 by strangely
Sabbath Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Not superheroes, but lookie what I found http://www.aliexpress.com/item/9136-9143-Pokemon-8items-blocks-minifigure-funny-cartoon-blocks-free-shipping-LOZ-Diamond-Blocks-Pikachu-Mewtwo/2050240693.html?s=p Also to keep my post relevant, I ordered http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/6308159087.html?orderId=64319440245106 like a month and a half ago and still nothing. Orders made well after it have shown up and nothing from this. Anyone else ordered it and had this problem?
gauz Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 The prices on AE for the new Big Figs sure seem to be rather high.
Adnan Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I've ordered some of those Trans and blue trans figures. Have not gotten them yet. I'll post when I get them. I've had my eye on them. Don't forget to post pics!
jangosolo Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Can't they just make a Collector and be done with it? Spent all morning trying to find a suitable torso and failed miserably. I've done the whole back catalogue now, I need new stuff!
tkkim79 Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 what do you wish next decool lineup? i wanna SDCC figures. spiderwoman, rocket racoon and collector

Still got protection I suppose. Tis frustrating
Robianco Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Rocket isn't an exclusive so I'm not too bothered for his release... I hope SY put out Spiderwoman and Green Arrow. I can see both of them doing the whole Justice League roster from the January releases once they're out. I'm hoping they go for some new game designs or some completely new figures. Imagine if they released some of the new 52 comic variants such as Harley Quinn and Catwoman... They'd look amazing! Stan Lee? There's still Daredevil... Polybag Electro? Blue Beetle and Booster Gold? John Stewart? Space Ghost? As a Batman fan I'd love a Talia Al Guhl, Ras Al Guhl, a League of Shadows Assassin and maybe a Talon or Azrael? Black Mask? I could go on...
Adnan Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 A Stan Lee would be awesome. Ultron for army building would be cool. We'll probably see that with Age of Ultron coming out next year. More X-Men like Beast and Archangel. I'd love to see more big figs like Colossus, Blob, Thanos, Bane etc. There's been quite a few custom big figs so I guess it's more likely.
BobaFett77 Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Look what Digger318 posted on his Facebook page : Looks like the whole wave 1 minifigures serie from Lego, right?
WhiteFang Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 ????? What!!!! This is just so..... (I need to find that shocking emotion)
robuko Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Oh that is interesting. More clown hair and robots please! I have been very impressed with the quality of the SY GoTG sets. Fantastic printing.
Robianco Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Bozhi have consistently copied sets rather than release figures... the only benefit of that being the Wolverine figure in yellow rather than bright light orange... but I'd have to say this is really taking things a little far. I can't see these selling too much outside of the Asian market where people can pick them up in store rather than online via AE etc. Also... is that $1.30HK? Which would be 11p each? or is that all $130HK for a 16 figure box (£11)?
Praiter Yed Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 ^ Agreed, except the S1 Zombie could help sales, especially if someone is willing to sell as separate figures or the price is low enough for the lot. Last time I looked S1 Zombies were selling for around £15, I imagine they're more now.
Super Goblin Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 I really wish Lego would rerelease series 1 and 2. I wouldn't even mind if they changed the facial expressions to make them different.
Kire Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Lego S1 zombie sells well but it's cheaper to make an actual Lego Zombie. You can buy Lego zombie heads on bricking for about .65 USD on Bricklink if you order alot I ordered about 30 and it came out to 20$ with .50 shipping and just order grey Lego hands about 60 at about .30 USD and it'll come out to maybe 15 USD if you work with the seller. So using just any old Lego body and legs you can have an army for really really cheap and have some creativity and variety since there is multiple Lego zombie heads besides the S1 zombie.
Robianco Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 (edited) From memory Bozhi's figures aren't completely compatible with Lego... at least they weren't. The torso mould was so thick that you couldn't fit regular Lego hips into the them. That's what happened with my Deadpool from the Chopper set. Edited December 12, 2014 by Robianco

I discovered this when I tried to replace Magneto's legs because their color was off.
