SuvieD Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 Those are exactly what I use. They sell them at Target and Walmart. You may want to try Storage Direct. They look like they have some nice stuff. A little pricey but I am sure they would have something you could use Storage Direct Catalogue Sort away! SuvieD Quote
The Middleman Posted April 7, 2005 Author Posted April 7, 2005 I can't find those in the US - help? Quote
languages Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 Those are what I want Can I buy them in England? Quote
Orlego Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 I can't find those in the US - help? They are made by Treston however I have not found a place in the US that sells them, have you yet? You can buy the cheap ones in Target, Wal-Mart, Lowes, Home Depot, etc but they do not have them in black and they only have one or two sizes. I would love to get them from Treston but I can't find a US seller. >:( |-/ Quote
The Middleman Posted April 9, 2005 Author Posted April 9, 2005 Best I've found so far were at Sears, in the ugliest shade of gray possible, and pretty shallow drawers. I found this site (http://onyx.malagraphixia.com/Storage/Lego_Storage.htm), but I haven't been able to find the Popular Mechanics storage he mentioned. Quote
SuvieD Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 Since I am finishing up my sort project I thought I would ask everyone, what do you do with the parts that don't have a home? Meaning what do you do with the odd parts that nobody ever has more than one or two of? I usually bag my bulk parts and store them in a rolling wrapping paper box. I have a few hundered odd parts that don't really belong anywhere else and I was wondering what everyone else does with them. Quote
xwingyoda Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 I don't have that many but I throw them in a big Ziplock bag ;) Or several smaller ones depending on the pieces. Quote
ApophisV Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 I have only a few parts for which I wasn't able to find an own category (= a Zip-Lock bag ;)). Those parts all fit in one additional bag. But this small amount of those parts may result from my sorting system, I sort parts by color, shape or theme. I have large bags / boxes filled with castle, space or city parts that just fit to the particular themes. This way I don't need to catch the city box from beneath my bed when I want to build a castle MOC! Oh, and I have a box where I put parts into I will NEVER (chance 99,99%) use in my life, e.g. the old 4x4 kitchen counter pieces from Fabuland or also the Jack Stone / Pirates 4+ Minifigs I have. The Middleman Posted April 27, 2005 Author Posted April 27, 2005 That's a good idea, sorting special pieces by era. Thanks, Apo! Quote
