Posted April 28, 201410 yr I've seen few instances where lego technic parts were being used in Non-Toy applications. I can name a rack for glass tubes (for chemistry buffs) and the antikythera in a current thread. Can you think of (and post links to) info on the use of Lego (technic) in 'serious' applications? April 28, 201410 yr I made a holder for my phone, mountable on a starndard tripod quick detatch mount, very useful for both photos and video I also made a foldable stand for my girlfriend's iPad, to use before I bought her a smartcover. It works great, and folds flat just two studs thick I also know Sariel made several Technic GoPro adaptors EDIT: The tripod phone mount: Edited April 28, 201410 yr by D3K

May 13, 201410 yr I've repaired various broken plastic bits on my car by supergluing lego bricks as reinforcements to them or replacing them with lego bricks altogether. :) LOL.. Me too. I made an entire hinge system out of Technic parts for the one that broke in my Camaro's center console... I made PSP stands about 8 years ago... I've fixed all types of things around the house with Technic bits...
