About old parts, good thing for the magnet holders (m-tron sets incoming?), but other parts are large tires and bionicle parts whose I'm not much interested to.

I hope that some other old part will peep out! :classic:

EDIT 2: Closed again, it's updating again. EDIT - and still didn't give me the installation wizard..

It shoulnd't give you and installation wizard...it's just a new brickset, not a new LDD version.

Check the Help > About and see what the Brickset version is. If it's 1392, then the update was succesful.

Oh. Well, it's still 1264. I'll probably deal with it then I get home. :sceptic:

...and it's in Safe Mode now, which is taking way longer than before. :hmpf_bad:

I still need to update to an LDD version from months ago, but this sounds awesome! Definitely some parts on that list that I wanted.

More info from the LDD Team: Bug fixes in 1392.

So if you want to, you can check if any bugs is now fixed that may have prevented you from making or finalizing an Official Set.

What's 15499?

Yeah, it seems there are some totally new parts. The 11219 is new to me too, it looks like a Star Wars helmet, but I haven't seen it in any SW sets of the year. Maybe they are from the Series 12 CMFs ?

Found ! 15499 is Calamity Drone's hair. Though, I still don't know where is 11219 from.

In the new brickset 1392, found a major (well, for some people) error. IN LDD extended and regular mode, part 76537 (two instances in regular mode - white/black and yellow/black), shock absorber, extra hard, is listed by image in the brick paleete, but can't be dragged onto the screen. It is between parts 53533 and 98989. Moreover, models using this part get a bad part error.

Also, part 58118 (FUNC EXT. Wire 50 CM.) has been deleted from the new brickset.

There appears to be superfluous part 95292's in the brick palette in LDD extended mode

Otherwise, looks great!

Could someone post a jpeg or two of the new parts. I'm in a hotel with a poor wifi connection and can't download the update.

Interesting. And I agree - a severe error.

A trick is to search in BL for "11219*" (with a star after), then you'll get this result :classic:

Nice to see interesting new parts (especially the 1x2 and 2x2 curved slopes I like so much).

But now in LDD regular mode, the color selector shows a lot of legacy colors, so much that the panel is cropped at the top and I can't see the "regular" colors anymore... :sceptic:

Does anyone have experience working with 3D rotation of ball-and-socket joints? The new Mixels parts use this tool. The go-to trick of typing in a ~10-digit number of the precise angle does not work with Mixels parts since entering one number automatically changes the angles along the other 2 axes.

I feel like I can't fully explore the potential of Mixel joints without the tool working properly in LDD.

I have experience but can't give you a lot of advice. Working with those sorts of hinges is hell in LDD and a lot of it (for me at least) has been trial and error, at least when I'm working with complex angles. I can suggest you try the up and down arrow buttons next to the angle values; while these still run into the issues you're mentioning, they allow for fine-tuning of complex angles by about one degree at a time.

Whil this is a good update there are still lots of things missing IMO, like the L and Servo motors, the 81,6mm smooth wheels, etc...

I show 3265 total parts in LDD Extended mode for a increase of 157. This would show five parts were removed?

No new colors.

1x4 masonry bricks ???!!?!?!?!!!

Took a screenshot of my problem... I shouldn't be the only one to experience it :sceptic:

How do you get so many legacy colors to appear?

Strange those tracks under 'electric parts' and under train parts, the electric parts don't have clips like the real ones do.

With new brickset 1392, it seem's I lost the SHOCK ABSOBER, EXTRA HARD or Technic, Shock Absorber 6.5L.

Could someone confirm ? it's in the left pane but can not be placed anymore

Same problem for me!

Nice to see the masonry brick in regular mode! But in sand green - what set has that brick?
