Hey people,

I will introduce you to my newest project and a MOC:

Project 1024

This project is basically a collection of 32 x 32 dioramas that has to fit to several requirements. I got the idea from a Builders Lounge contest I am participating (with this MOC as my first entry), the requirements include several structures that must be included in particular amounts (figures, vehicles, stable structres,...).

Anyway, here we go!

Stranded

As you see, a Viking MOC (oh, I love this line! :o ) showing some guys with heir broken longboat and five poor vikings, one has even lost one of his horns! Anyway, here is a overview pic:

The deck of the ship where they store those weapons and stuff they were able to recover from the water:

The cooking site with a tripod camp fire thing and a scaffold for hanging the catched meat. Oh and a bucket of chilis! ;)

Finally a view from the other side:

And here the link: Stranded Gallery and the Detail Gallery (this one is currently in moderation process)

BTW, the next diorama I am currently working on will be wild west based! ;-)

Very nice! I like the cocoanuts and tropical viking feel. The scene is very well conveyed. Happy building!

God Bless,

What a great scene! I love it. That ship actually looks like a real Lego shipwreck. The trees and the cooking pot add an excellent level of detail. This is very impressive and would make a great Viking set.

Very nice Apo *wub*!

I also like the stranded ship - looks "real" *y*!

Luckely there seems to be no shortage of food & beer so these hardcore Vikings will survive a long time X-D.

Is that a trained Viking-monkey fetching the banana?

A very lovely scenery with lots of fine and funny details like that barrel with planks,

that poor Viking looking at his damaged helmet and those chilies....

Nordic Flame on! *y*

Why is this called "Project 1024"? Are there 1023 projects which come before it?

I think its called 1024 because he builds only on 32x32 plates and 32x32=1024 ;-)

This is absolutely brilliant, Apo *wub* The details are phenomenal, the shipwreck looks real (as already said) and...well, I just can't fine anything that looks out of place! It's a true work of art, hell, even the sand looks real :-P

This is phenomenal

Very nice.

I actually prefer larger 32x32 scenes over the typical vignette. It allows for a compact scene with detailing simply not possible at a smaller scale. You've really captured the feeling of being stranded on a small isle with no hope of escape. A fantastic effort.

Really good idea this 32x32 diorama!

And you've done a really great works! Like you, I loke this vikings line so much (my first complete line!).

Your diorama has a good feeling, with a lot of great details which add a lot, and especially when they are good.

Just congrate Mr. Apo *y*
