Posted May 6, 201410 yr Hello, I want you to meet my 1920s German museum train. The steam locomotive is based on the German BR89 (T3). This is a three-axle passenger car, 2nd class. And that's a two-axle passenger cars, fourth class. More pictures can be found at the following link: http://lego.startrek...de/der-zug.html I hope the train like it. Sven K (Capt. K)
May 6, 201410 yr Really nice looking train. Even the passenger cars, I remember having some of those old three axle ones on my N gauge layout as a kid, they were forever coming off the track on curves and especially at points. Looks like you have solved that problem though.
May 6, 201410 yr A very cool train. I love that you took the pictures outside. I feel as if I'm really there at a train museum.
May 6, 201410 yr Wow, that perfectly captures the old 'Länderbahn'-Flair. Exceptionally executed, I even thought "T3 with tender" when I saw the locomotive. The passenger cars are very well-done aswell andlook very realistic.
May 7, 201410 yr Hello Sven, a very nice locomotive, beautiful cars, beautiful set in scene. I take my hat off to you. Best regards Udo
May 7, 201410 yr Everything is very well done, great details are everywhere. I love the SNOT tile sides of the cars, it really completes their look. The locomotive looks great, and as others have mentioned you've really staged the photographs well. --Tony
May 8, 201410 yr Wow, what a great work!!! Well done! I also want point out the high level of the photos with perfect view angle, light and the general composition. Excellent, especially the second one! I think the middle axle of the green coach shifts under the body, do it?
May 8, 201410 yr Wow! She's a beauty, the cars are fantastic, and the photos are excellent. Fantastic attention to details at every level.
May 8, 201410 yr Author Thank you for your Honorable words. I am very pleased that you like the train! Quote I think the middle axle of the green coach shifts under the body, do it? Yes, the middle axle can move freely. Only the two outer axles are mounted firmly and rotate. Sven
