snefroe Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 some one on classic space found that lego has set up a website for the theme, with this game on it. the only thing that frustrates me a bit is that the game window is quite small and you loose control over the guy once you're going out that window with the cursor... very often leading to the death of your fig... :-X Quote

The character profiles had truly dissapointing hints at the backstory... Not even a token female like Alpha Team had... not even names, just their warlike rank/roles. When you've got a guy who's 'Gunner', any pretense of the story being a peaceful exploration kinda goes out the window... Quote

I mean, sure, they're not happy with humans coming to Mars to mine, but why would the humans treat them so cruel... btw, have you guys seen the aliens carrying guns? they're actually no threat at all... the more i see these Mars humans the more i dislike them, their attitude just sucks :-X Quote
Jipay Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Clear contradiction from TLC (again). 5 years from now, everyone there would have sworn TLC would NEVER EVER release guns cause they were too violent. Now the batman line introduced realistic guns, soon to be followed by SW. Up to that point, I was the happiest man on earth. But unfortunatly, free violence and a little Alien genocide isn't that surprising next. They couldn't resist crossing the line. Too temptating probably. How great it is to realise that TLC is moving to massive fights between people and races. Humans vs robots Humans vs aliens Humans vs humans Massive shooting mechanism, huge guns. No possibility whatsoever to do something else than a killing machine. Whoohoo ! fearing things you don't know about is a common reaction among our societies, I just wish TLC to be over it, and trying to educate kids a bit (or at least giving an alternative). Quote
