Hey there. I figured I'd start a new topic to document my current LEGO projects. For the time being this will all be LDD designs I've created, as I wait for some extra cash to spend on bricklink.

1. Scania Rotator Tow Truck

Parts Count: 4400

Progress: 90% Complete

Features:

- Drive (RC)

- Steer (RC)

- Air Compressor (RC)

- Outriggers deploy in/out (pneumatic RC)

- Outriggers lift up/down (Pneumatic RC)

- Towbar deploy in/out (pneumatic RC)

- Towbar lift up/down (Pneumatic RC)

- Boom rotate (RC)

- Boom lift (RC)

- Boom Extend

- Winch 1 (RC)

- Winch 2 (RC)

- Battery Set switch (RC)

You'll notice this truck has more than 8 functions. In total it has 7 PF IR Receivers. First IR Receiver controls the battery back switch, which is a PF Medium motor and two polarity switches that will turn on either battery back 2 (with 3 receivers) or battery pack 3 (With the other 3 receivers) This way I can split the functionality of the truck into two sets:

- Drive

- Steer

- Towbar

- Outriggers

and

- Boom lift

- Boom rotate

- Boom extend

- Winch 1

- Winch 2

You'll notice I also took a lot of inspiration for the design of the cab from Efferman's doctor brick community project of the scania flat bed.

Thanks everyone!

Its looking like the oshkosh TFFT will be first to build, as I already have a tremendous amount of parts for it.

Also here's a picture of one of our 4 trucks in service at Firemen Movers

Thanks everyone for the positivity. Looks like I will be building the moving truck first from the oddly surprising reaction its gotten!

Also it will be the cheapest due to lack of PF and such.

just trying to finalize the lift gate design. Its pretty close to 100% real looks and real functionality!

Here's my newest model. I will be building this one first as soon as possible, but that depends on the delivery of a few sbricks ;)

It's modelled around an NRC Industries Kenworth T800

Parts Count: 4350

Features:

- Drive

- Steer

- Pusher Axle lift / lower

- Outriggers extend / retract

- Outriggers lift / lower (pneumatic)

- Underlift deploy / retract (pneumatic)

- Rotate

- Boom lift / lower

- Boom extend / retract

- Winch 1

- Winch 2

Tag axle and underlift is detachable, so you can use the underlift with or without the tag axle (See final picture)

You sir have some insane MOCs. They all look so good and seem very functional. Looking forward to seeing the build of the Kenworth

Awesome. I was actually looking at the western star website today and seen a similar one, crazy. Anyways it looks great will it have suspension?

No suspension, There are too many mechanisms and what not to try and figure out a suspension system as well

Next truck, I promise =)

Yup... Great MOC's. Love to see 1 and 3 built.

Here's an update for you guys

I've uploaded part lists for the kenworth and another secret project to bricklink and so I will be able to build those two beasts very soon!

In the meantime, I purchased Ingmar's chassis instructions and decided to build a small fleet.

These three models together are 10,660 pieces

All three trailers can be interchanged between the two trucks (Flat bed obviously requires the single axle dolly)

Features are as follows:

1. Flatbed truck

- Drive

- Steer

- Full suspension

2. Piggyback forklift

- Drive

- Steer

- Lift/Lower forks

- Tilt forks

3. Landoll 455 Trailer and Truck

- Drive

- Steer

- Full suspension

- Auxiliary pneumatic and PF for trailer

- Travelling axle trailer

- Pneumatic trailer tilt

4. Manac extendable trailer

- Full suspension

- PF trailer extension mechanism
