Hello,

Several month's ago, Ive created this crawler drill, but haven't post it on Eurobricks until now :classic:

The crawler is an heavy machine with masive drill power to deal with the roughest terrain. Two chrome drills, two mining lasers and a radar are the equipment for this vehicle to research the dangerous dark caves.

Information about the crawler:

  • The crawler is motorized by two Power Functions M motors
  • The drills rotate when driving
  • Two working lights on front side
  • Removable battery box for easy replacement of the batteries

Not the most practical drilling crawler, due to radar dish and laser turret on the roof and two drills instead of one, but hey, it looks cool :) Those trans green colors are my favorite, since the MTrons :) Glad to see them today on this crawler.

Front view with lights on is great!

Thanks for the nice compliments :classic:

@ Alasdair Ryan: Sci-Fi and Technic is a perfect combination in my opinion, it gives a Sci-Fi moc more high tech look.

A bit off topic, but I'm currently building a space layout with several Technic functions and NXT 2.0. And sometimes I build vehicles like this :classic: Technic give someting extra's in a MOC/layout qua looks and functionallity.

@ Milan: I've tried one laser turret, but two was better for the looks, exactly the same to the drills  And the crawler was to wide for using one drill :classic:

I´ve forgot to say, but I´m going to make a video of the crawler, asap. First I have to fix something. The gears at the axle at the back of the crawler skid when driving on surfaces when high power is needed
