zouave Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 Thanks for the review. This set looks great but all I really want are the figs, horses ,and weapons. :-| I would then add them to my army.I mainly would like the scared guy's head so I could have a coward. BTW, are these sets in stores yet or are they specially ordered? *wacko* Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 my thoughts exactly ;-) though, i do like bricksters haunted hay wagon... maybe something alone those lines, but with evil *skull* all over. >:-) - BM I've been contemplating if I should build a ghost wagon for some time now (since seeing this set a while back). Strange... Quote
VBBN Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 Good review. I must admit, I am addicted to those skeletons. Quote
Wout Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 Nice review, I like the new frightened male and female (the others were already 4-5 years ago). The cart is a bit to black for me, but it is a nice set with a nice price, I will pick it up someday. *y* Quote
BearHeart Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 I just bought this set yesterday and I gotta say, the actual model look even better than any pic I've seen of it. This is a very well thought out set by LEGO, I love how the cage can be removed from the wagon and the wagon used as a troop transport. The skeleton horses are made of a hard, smooth plastic that make them seem very durable and of high quality. I will definitely pick up one or two more copies of this set sometime in the next months *y* Quote
Wobo Ihi Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 Great review as always, *yoda* Keep it up. I'm considering getting this set, even though I'm not that a big Castle fan. *skull* Quote
Shakar Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 Hmm...so hopeless. I love it. Priceless expression.Skellie Overlord Quote
iamded Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 *wub* I went to the local Warehouse, but these new sets weren't there. Which is strange, because the Vikings sets were in store shortly after I saw them on S@H. But it's okay, because that gives me more time to collect money! I currently have $5.80 NZ. This small Castle set with the ballista, 2 Crown Knights and Skellie with Skelorse, that costs $10.00 NZ. This Skeleton Prison Cage set costs $35.00. So I still have quite a way to go... lol. :-D :-D Quote
Corvus Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 Oh look at that frightened sir knight !! I don't know where the king gets his armies |-/ Castle ON !! *yoda* Wal-Mart? :-D I really like this set. in addition to a beutiful prison carriage, we have a large amount of parts. Lets see, 2 'drone' skellies 1 black skellie 3 skellie horses 2 curved swords 1 mace 2 lovely t-slit, mottled (hm, that's not right) helmets 1 nice round shield 1 nice infantryman 1 excellent knight 2 shiny silver helmets 1 armor piece 1 knight's shield 2 pikes 1 ax-pike 1 straight sword 1 horse 1 whip 2 chains 8- Quote
xwingyoda Posted May 28, 2007 Author Posted May 28, 2007 Are you planning to build a few armies with your collection? This would look good in a battle scene. Thanks for sharing - as always. Indeed Brickster ;-) At first I just wanted them for my collection but I really love those sets and I really will buy several copies of 7090 - that is just a fantastic army building set 8- Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Nice review, but short. Still very informative. I need this set! Thanks for the pics! Castle on! -ZotS Quote
Shakar Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Heh, I'll never understand these jokes. I guess that you need to be from USA to get them. X-D Shakar Quote

TheFrisian Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 No, only 2. I skipped the one last time, I thought I had enough. But I can't resist all those skellies. :-P ~Peace I know what you mean, I might just get a second one myself if I spot it on clearance somewhere. SlyOwl Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 What do you mean new cones? X-O Do they look any different? Yes, slightly - it bothers me rather, and it looks like it bothers alex54 - I found this on his BS gallery by mistake... Apart from the top looking different, there are 4 "friction grips" (segments, if you're mathematically minded) on the inside of the cone rather than the old 2, probably to keep the barbs from falling out... TheFrisian Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Those look different indeed, are you sure it's LEGO? Luckily my Prison Carriage came with the old style cones. Quote
SlyOwl Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Those look different indeed, are you sure it's LEGO? Luckily my Prison Carriage came with the old style cones. It certainly is - look at *yoda* 's cones, on the turret/tower thing. Mine came with them too, although Bricklink and Peeron haven't yet recognised the difference... SlyOwl Quote
TheFrisian Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 I don't know what's more odd, that yours came with different cones, or that mine came with the old style ones. I'm not complaining though, I much prefer the old style cones. ;-) Quote
yoda601 Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 Wow, this looks like a great set. Good review. Quote
