owlbearsforall Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Philadelphia could use another store, as they only have one in a part of town I seldom go to. I live in MD right now and have FIVE stores within a 90 minute drive--hard to believe Philly only has one. (Though there's probably some across the river in Jersey.) I agree with this. The only one closest to Philly is a 45 minute drive to a mall. :/ I'd love to see one in the city limits. Quote
syy89 Posted January 15, 2015 Author Posted January 15, 2015 Hoping the rumours of a store in Ottawa are confirmed very soon. Other one I read about is a flagship location in Bordeaux, France. Quote

syy89 Posted February 10, 2015 Author Posted February 10, 2015 Looks like San Antonio is getting a second LEGO Store: http://blog.mysanantonio.com/sashoptalk/2015/02/retail-roundup-new-lego-store-ihop-restaurant-and-more-heading-to-s-a/ Quote
AFOLguy1970 Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 San Antonio getting a second store? Wow, I was hoping we would eventually get one in Fort Worth. We are probably the largest Texas city without one. Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Edinburgh needs one Bet you stayed in Glasgow? Still it's only an hour on the train.... Quote

What are the rumors about an Ottawa store? Would love one here to be honest. Shipping from TLG takes a about a week and Montreal's store are like 3-4 hr drive. Quote

I can do my LEGO and Lululemon shopping in one trip if this is true. Thanks for the info! Quote

masterX244 Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 still wishing one would open in Stuttgart in germany. the other ones are at least 4 hours by train away and going by train is getting expensive when jts going to larger distances Quote
neonic Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 We need one in the Netherlands There's one, where I come from. a Little place called Gouda. It's just about 5-10 walking for me I've been there a few times. Nice shop, and very friendly people. My little nice loves it too, espacially that Lego friends stuff ofcourse Quote
Zusammengebaut Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 I have been in the Lego Store at the Rockefeller Center a few moths ago. I was surprised: Very cool - but somehow "small", as well. But the dragon is really cool. Have you been there as well? What do you think? Quote

blarghiflargh Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I'd like one in Richmond, Virginia. There's two in DC which is a good two hours away(Richmond is already an hour away, but realistically it's the only city around here big enough for one). Quote
Zusammengebaut Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 By the way: What do you think of the new Lego Store employee? A perfect supplement to the new Town Square Lego City Set, which will include a Lego Store. Quote

It could just be because it is always crowded, but I was expecting, I don't know, something a little more? Quote

It could just be because it is always crowded, but I was expecting, I don't know, something a little more? Same with be. May be because of the two levels - the second one is very small, just for the cash boxes. But: There will be a second store in NYC, soon. For those, who will be in NYC in the near future. Quote
ElCrab Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 I would love a LEGO Store in Reno, NV, but at the same time, I spend so much of my own money on LEGO through work, I feel like the 2 hour drive to Sacramento is actually a good thing for me. Keeps me from being completely broke. ;) Quote
brickbuilder711 Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 I'm happy with what is available in South Florida but believe TLG could use a third store in South Florida. I'm feeling Dolphin Mall. LEGO's duplicity in certain metro areas is no surprise. I guess when likening them to say, Gap, Sony, etc. Quote
Q3671 Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 I'm lucky, the LEGOshop is 1000 meter around the left corner. Quote
escortmad79 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Bet you stayed in Glasgow? Still it's only an hour on the train.... Live in Fife so travelling to the Glasgow store is 45 miles each way Quote
