I am not trying to sound harsh but what I think is scum is someone who is suspicious and starts a suspicion of someone near the begining of the day or the game. So, you think Adam is scum? And town want to kill scum too! Does anyone know who has special skills already (aka: what type of roles could be in play) because we are only in training so I assume what department we are in doesn't matter" We weren't calling you scum for being quiet, we were just pointing your quietness out. Actually the original quote is on page one. However I just realized that the quote you picked this up from on page two was condensed by someone else into a different meaning! Very interesting! I now see possibly two suspious people. How does it make me suspicious? Adam took my response to Jeff's Game of Drones joke in which I randomly picked Jordan to call the shortest (it could have been anyone) and he cut the rest of my post to make it look like I was outing a suspicion of Jordan. I'm glad I'm voting him. I wanted to highlight the accusations that had been made, since it was such a long quote. I'm sorry if shortening posts is against the rules, this is my first game on any forum. My apologies to Bob and Emily. But I didn't accuse Jordan. I jokingly said that the shortest person is likely scum and I randomly picked Jordan to call the shortest. It's pretty clear that that was a joke and if you took it seriously, I will laugh sooo much. Even though you did not change words around, people could have misinterpreted the few words that you left. There were three people highlighted in that post, yet the only name you let in was mine. Followed by multiple levels of accusation. So my vote will be for you. You corrected yourself, and I appreciate that. However I have to vote, and there is little to go on. Since changing quotes can be used to benefit the scum, I want to send a clear message that changing quotes without highlighting what you did in them (aka: use <snip>, etc) will not be tolerated by me. If anyone else has more suspicions, let us know soon! Surely it's OK to cut part of a quote out if you only want to reply to one sentence? Not in the way that Adam did it, but in the way that I just did in my last post. Adam's use of cutting quotes is bad because it led people to misinterpret what I said. But mine is OK because the sentence I left in doesn't relate to the rest of the quote. This is... very suspicious. Stop being suspicious of everything everyone says. I bandwagoned Adam because people were talking of how he could be scum and we had to vote anyways so I thought of voting him off. Then somone made a good point of the possibility of being scum but then you started talking of how Adam could be townand decided that was probably true, so I decided to unvote him because of what you said. So it made sense to unvote for him. I was just confused with everyone thinking different ideas of who was scum. I hope you understand what happened there.

The problem is, we don't have anything to go on, and most of us are noobs, so we're trying to analyze the most minor details with the hope of identifying a scum. Once the night has ended and day 2 has become, we'll clear up some player's allegiances and have something to base our decisions off of the most minor details.

Your are in command school, you claim you will be a leader someday, and yet you are very whiffle waffle on many things. A true leader gathers as much intel as possible, analyzes all possibilities and makes an informed decision. As for suspecting Greg, I don't really see or get your reasons but that is your choice, even if you are trying to trick us into voting for the wrong person.

I think Emily has done a great job summarizing as to why she thinks certain people are loyalists (town) or purists (scum). I don't agree with some of her conclusions but I think that is more because I have a big bucket of people I don't have a good read on yet. But I don't think Adam is scum. I am concerned about Jeff. His comment: Well that happened rapidly... Almost seems coordinated. seems more like it was simply sowing confusion and suspicion rather problem solving. It must be my chemistry background but I like data more than random grenade throwing. The good news is these bandwagons will give us interesting data (game) tomorrow. I'm sticking with my vote.

Emily doesn't seem like scum because she looks like she is serious about this, I mean really serious. She also gave some good explanations about things so far, even though I don't agree with some of her statements. These are just my thoughts so far about the people I thought were scum before.

As a reminder, all players must vote or they will receive a penalty. Refresher Lesson: As a note, you're extremely unlikely to catch a member of the scum on Day One unless one of them messes up somehow. Day One lynches are supposed to be totally random and nonsensical. There will always be a Day Two, so don't worry if you mess up on Day One.
