Discontinued Part

I tried to order the part below, it's the steering hub with the four prongs, but lego now say it's being discontinued. How can I get my hands on a pair or two?

I got around 10 of these they were part of the lego models like the technic Ferrari's and the 8070.

I bought a 8297 for this part.

I missed out on all those models. However, when I went to lego customer service they showed as in stock and my order was in process when the guy said they were no longer in stock, which was dissapointing. Can we expect some new ones then?.

I had commented about the Online Customer Service in another thread... You cannot go by what they show that they have, because they have many items showing as available that have been out of production for years....
