So, what do you guys think about the color of space miner's helmet and raygun-drill? Will it be orange, like they appear to be on legojapan's pic on the first page, or the copper color seen on the image CM4S posted a month back?:

SpaceMiner.png

(I assume it's the metallic copper color, it might also be dark orange or pearl gold, I'm not sure how well the colors translate from the real world to the digital one).

I hope it's copper, but I guess offical images trump game screencaps - I'm pretty sure the swashbuckler will have a gold rapier instead of a bley one as seen in another of CM4S's screencaps (on page 6, btw).

Thoughts?

In the game the cape of the Wizard is printed and the Swashbuckler has a silver rapier, so there are differences between what we have seen in the MMO and the actual minifigures

Who knows? Actual cape printing seems unlikely, since Superman didn't get it, but Vitruvius and the old Harry Potter figs had decorated capes, so maybe it's a surprise they're keeping. It would be too bad if they embellished the figures (or used ideas that got rejected for physical release) in the game.

Piggy is great, but I hoped for meat in his hand. Still VERY usefull fig.

How is he a useful fig? Don't get me wrong, I love the animal costume figs, but they don't have much of a use other than being displayed.

Well I may imagine them as circus members, party pals or kindergarten babysitters. Or if you're into Chima and you're good at customization, the molds are also good materials.

Between Werewolves & Chima we've got loads of Big Bad Wolves… you can get 3 Piggy Suit Guys and three of these heads to make monstrous Three Little Pigs to turn the tables on the wolf!

Put 'em with the fairground sets as Mascots. Build an army of their respective animals and put them at the head of the army in a zooyard brawl. Make a Pig Mech, there's your pilot.

Or make him a mascot for the CMS Butcher's shop...

With all these suggestions, there should be some kind of contest for the pig-suit-guy after the series comes out!

Alexandre's concepts had some fairytale characters, but he expected to have an independent generic fairytale theme for them. For the CMF series, TLG is able to make those human fairytale characters for sure, but not sure if they would like to directly invent real animal heads instead of costumes. If they can do it for Minotaur or Werewolf (MF), maybe it's not difficult for 3LPs? Edited by Dorayaki

Short of an actual fairytale theme, or spreading the 3LP over 3 waves of CMFs (probably not even consecutive waves, so it'd likely take more than a year to get 'em all!), I think the only way of getting that is if Chima introduces a pig tribe (tho more likely it's be boars… but either could be interesting, as B- and P-names could still be plentiful (only bats, I think, have claimed anything there)

…regarding Alexandre's artwork, I still really, REALLY want his goblin with the tall pointy hood, and his halfling adventurer. And the elves. Even the undead warrior, tho maybe without the flail.

Is there a chance that we may see pictures of more minifigures series 12 at comic con? I don't think so, as the release date is october.

Every year people say that we will see the next CMF pics at SDCC, but it never happens. We usually see it right before SDCC, but since it's coming in October, I'm guessing mid-August.

So I guess no series 12 news from Comic Con, huh? :(

Nope, but....

Argos posted an image with all of the minifigures!

Theres a higher-quality image at the link above (which my computer won't let me save).

So, what do you think?

EDIT: Apparently "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community." Anyway, you can still view the image on their site!
