WARHEAD Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 I've had this sitting around collecting dust for a while so I thought I;d finally get around to posting it. It's a generic sci-fi VTOL design, mainly built to experiment with wedges and SNOT techniques. Quite pleased with the end result. By the way, this is my first post on this subforum! Your comments are greatly appreciated. Quote
StickFig Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Looks pretty swooshy, and I actually like that you've only put a rocket/missile pod on one side with everything else symmetrical. My one comment (as a real life helicopter pilot) is that the source of thrust (those two big fans) seems really unbalanced. The thrusters should be attached as close to the vessel's center of gravity as possible - same with the landing gear. If you moved them up somehow so that they attached between the legs of of the landing gear, it would look more real to me. Anyway, great little ship! Quote
Balthazar Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Nice helicopter, i especially like its design Great work! Quote
Agent Fusion Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Awesome! Nice use of the Hero Factory minifig. Quote
TNT apples Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 I love that cockpit window piece you used, it makes the ship look much more futuristic than if you'd just used a generic transparent one. Great job! Quote
