Nightstalker Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 (edited) 4.75 years in the making. 39 inches tall. Over $2000 spent. It is done! The home to the members of the BLG. This home lies in between the kingdoms of Ankora and Hislith. Originally, this land was gifted to Kain's father, who assisted the king of Hislith with a dangerous task. The guildhouse is built of ebony and gold, and has stood here since the time of Kain's father. After his death, the guildhouse fell into disorder and eventually was locked. No one entered or exited. Sometime after 3E49, the guildhouse lit up once more as Kain attempted to restart to BLG. --------------------------------------------------------- Additional Pictures A statue of a woman. Possibly believed to be a great warrior. ------------------------------------------- For those who have followed this project over the past years, thank you! For those who have not seen the inside of this guildhouse refer to these links: From bottom to top: Armory and Forges: Entry Hall: Guild quest rooms and office: Dining Hall and Kitchen: Library and Arcaneum: All can be viewed here: http://www.eurobrick...topic=83690&hl= Guildmaster's Bedroom and Servant's Quarters: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=90506&hl= Guild Barracks: (see below) Guild Lounge and Vault: http://www.eurobrick...topic=85756&hl= Guild Training Grounds: http://www.eurobrick...topic=84322&hl= Floor Six: Guild Barracks This is where the guild members stay (that is when they are too tired to return home, or simply do not have a home etc.) The floor is split into two sections: one side for men, the other side for women. The men's barracks contain a bed for each member of the guild. Each member is also entitled to an end table drawer where they can stash some personal goods. On the other side, is the female barracks. Compared to the men's side, the female barracks are more lavish. Along with having a personal place to stash their goods, this side was given an enclosed area for bathing, a fireplace, a small carpet, and a dresser where towels can be found. Some male members have questioned why they do not have these luxuries. According to the GM, he believed it was more important that everyone have a place to rest; he also stated that there were several bodies of water in the surrounding land where they could clean themselves. ------------------------------------------------ It has been really fun making this! I can't wait to start on my next big project. Hope you enjoyed the MOC. As usual... Decals by Saber-Scorpion C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!! Edited May 23, 2014 by Nightstalker Quote
Macsen Wledig Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Wow, that's one big tower - it's as if Corbusier had been born in the Middle Ages. Great job! I would love to see more photos but the links don't seem to be working... MW Quote

legoman19892 Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Is there any way I could get the full URL? Those ellipses and missing letters make the links go nowhere for me. Quote

I will probably build up one of my many castle armies (including nobility, siege weapons, etc.) Edited the original post to include good links. Edited May 23, 2014 by Nightstalker Quote
krono111 Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 It's huuuuuuuuuuuuuge! (good English I know ) The floors and the buildings are just awesome! The garden is nice. The flowers are a great detail! I suggest to add there some more plates to make differences in height. I like to post that that link here: http://www.classic-castle.com/howto/articles/landscapehowto.html and I always tell that it's helpful. So I do now: It's a helpful link and it helped me very much. Nightstalker Posted May 23, 2014 Author Posted May 23, 2014 That does appear quite tall, but you REALLY need some better photos! Yeah I know. I've tried getting better with smaller scale photos, but I'm not quite sure of a big picture set up. Any chance you have any links to one? Thanks in advance! Quote
