May 30, 201410 yr If this is just spam. Go check out my LEGO ideas project, it is a Green Lantern set. Again sorry for the spam. P.S. I put a link to the project in my signature. Edited June 8, 201410 yr by samuraiturtle
May 30, 201410 yr The average number of posts of people posting here so far is very funny edit: just testing how to edit and for new people I find it funny that I can make my post time higher then my edit time lol Edited May 30, 201410 yr by SMC
May 30, 201410 yr It's impressive that the OP doesn't actually say anything about that. Dang. Guess I switched around the front page post and the OP. Edited May 30, 201410 yr by -Carson Haupt-
May 30, 201410 yr Author Practice. Practice. Practice. Practise is the verb, practice is the noun, so: Practice (the noun) does indeed make perfect, but only if you do enough practising (verb). See also here. I don't want to not see this topic in 3 weeks! It's interesting to see how newbies act and how they post, before entering the Eurobricks World... This is supposed to be a welcoming place for new members, so that they don't have to worry about people judging them before posting on the main boards. That's why older members are only getting a limited time here.

May 31, 201410 yr Well I think this is a brilliant idea... It's fantastic for new members to have their own space to figure out the system And now for some shameless self promotion New members, I welcome you to the forum and invite you to check out my city's topic here and my flickr account for some MOC photos, also my youtube channel I hope you gain some inspiration from it all and I look forward to seeing your contributions to the forum! Happy building!!
May 31, 201410 yr Dang. Guess I switched around the front page post and the OP. Yup! I didn't read the front page first, but rather the other topic, so it was a bit confusing without that info. :)
May 31, 201410 yr ... and now for something completely different Come and follow me on twitter! Subscribe to my Youtube Channel! Look at my MOCS on Flickr! Warning: may contain nutters.
May 31, 201410 yr I must post something before this place disappears, never to be seen again by my own eyes! Cookies!
May 31, 201410 yr I like trains... SHWOOOOOOOOWSH *HIT BY TRAIN* *SCREEN FADES TO BLACK* I like trains too. Practicing quoting. I'm using with the North American spelling instead of the British "practising".
May 31, 201410 yr I think this is a good idea. Although I didn't need it when I was new. On that time it was here a bit less membes, so it was easier for moderators to guide. (oh god, I feel so old now )
May 31, 201410 yr Spam you say? I'm a waffle man! No muffins, no toast, no teacakes, no buns, baps, baguettes or bagels, no croissants, no crumpets, no pancakes, no potato cakes and no hot-cross buns and definitely no flapjacks. These new members, we never had anything like this when I joined. I like trains too. And Spaceships. But not planes. I can't fly. Our we OK to do this? I mean while we can see it of course. May 31, 201410 yr New guy here. Already made a few posts in the forums as well as my 1st post being in the New Member section. Practise is the verb, practice is the noun, so: Practice (the noun) does indeed make perfect, but only if you do enough practising (verb). See also here. This is supposed to be a welcoming place for new members, so that they don't have to worry about people judging them before posting on the main boards. That's why older members are only getting a limited time here. So, is the misspelling of Practice more of a joke rather than a mistake?
June 1, 201410 yr I must post something before this place disappears, never to be seen again by my own eyes! Cookies! Same here! Waffles!...
June 1, 201410 yr Test link. https://farm3.static...3f878cc7b_o.jpg EDIT by Pandora: I have removed the image tag from your picture as it is far too big (it's 1944 x 2592!) Whilst we encourage you to post pictures, our maximum size is 1,024 x 768 (or 768 x 1,024 for pictures with a portrait orientation) - as referenced in the Site Guidelines, a link to which is in my signature if you'd like to refresh your memory. Thank you. Edited June 1, 201410 yr by Pandora See in post
June 1, 201410 yr So, is the misspelling of Practice more of a joke rather than a mistake? It's proper English. The rest of the world can't help what the Americans did to it.
June 1, 201410 yr I like the information site for beginners. Unfortunate it was a bit late if it only was open for the beginners and I was just rounding 10 posting when it came But it was not so I learned a few new things.
June 1, 201410 yr It's kinda funny that most of the posts in a newbie forum have been made by non-newbies... Anyway, like others, I'm just going to post before it goes, and don't get me started on the practise/practise thing, I have to reach for the dictionary or Google before I use the word... Stupid English language. WAFFLE WAFFLE WAFFLE.............. TALK TALK TALK............................... CHIN-WAG CHIN-WAG CHIN-WAG.... And by the way, I like that Bionicle/Hero beartrapper!
June 1, 201410 yr How do I embed a Youtube videos Like this: [media]http://youtu.be/NdDU_BBJW9Y[/media] Just practicing quoting/and enabling video.... Edited June 1, 201410 yr by Alasdair Ryan
