Brett-S Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Hello friends, I came across this site because in my travels through the internet looking for LDD files most of the time it sent me here to Eurobricks. I was interested in the LDD Star Wars section you have and since many of the links weren't working or no file was there I figured I needed to be a member. So I signed up and sadly the links still do not work. Does anyone have any suggestions on where or how the links can be fixed and the information can be retrieved? I really don't want to have to make set #75021 from scratch. Thanks for any help anyone can offer. Brett Quote

Unfortunately, most of the people in this New Member section are just passing through (as you will be as you make more posts), so you may not get a response from anyone but me (and you might have moved out by the time someone else posts). I'm afraid I don't have an answer to your question, but I am pretty sure that there will be plenty of people in the LDD forum who will be able to provide you with some sort of answer. I would strongly suggest asking your question in our LDD forum. Best of luck. Quote
Superkalle Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Hi Brett. The problem you are experiencing is mostly likely because Brickshelf.com, where most of the LDD files are stored, is temporary down for maintenance. I have no idea when it will be up again. And like Pandora said, you are more then welcome over to our LDD forum for any future questions. Quote
Brett-S Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Thank you for the information everyone. I am not very good at these forum things mainly because I've never really used them. I understand about the site being down and thank you for that. Let's hope it gets back up soon. I made set #75021 from scratch and I think I have carpal tunnel now. :-) Either way thank you all for the info and I'll do my best to learn quickly. Quote

PasDeChocolat Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 (edited) Hello everyone, As newcomer in the forum I’ll try to do a quick presentation. I'm a LEGOmaniac at least that's the way my wife calls me . On BrickSet, I've 119 sets dated from 1977 to 2014. Since my early ages, when my father started to offer me technics before I was 6, I've always been playing with bricks. I came back to it when I finished my studies and got a job. I've been collecting and really trying to do something out of the "studless technics" but came to the conclusion that I just hate them... sorry about that but it is not Lego anymore, you could as well play kenex or any other construction toy. By now, I'm the proud father of a little boy, so I decided to go back to the basic themes as town, city and trains. Edited September 1, 2014 by PasDeChocolat Quote

I would really recommend not changing the font size of your posts - writing in such a small size can be very difficult to read, and as a result people may skim over what you're saying. The default font size is always recommended. Don't forget to introduce yourself (as you have here) in the proper introductions section that everyone can read: the Hello! My Name is... forum. That way more people can meet you. Congratulations on your little boy and I'm sure I'll see you in the Town forum. Quote

Pittstop Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 What a cool idea having a "testing ground". So many other forums I have visited just get so uptight about people not having the skills to use the basic features, when what they should be doing is giving new members and inexperienced people the opporunity to try stuff, see if it works and get feedback IF they do it wrong. By the way, some of you may know me already as I've been posting in the Eurobrick pool on Flickr for years but never got around to joining the website. You might also know me by my various other accounts on Deviantart, Brickshelf, MOCpages and Legoideas. I normally go by either Pittstop, Tempest, Andros or in the real world Steven. Quote

Matsuoka Nui Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Hi, I was the former ToaMataNui (later as Toa Syaoran, or Tsubasa i don't remember what it was) (lol I can't believe my obession with BIONICLE is rising back) but now I have returned with a new name, new face, new account (since I cannot recover my original). I am excited to revisit this website once more. I'll make a reintroduction (and more detailed) post on the intro forum. Quote
