Hi everyone!

This is my first topic an first of all sorry for my english :-) .I built a little truck and now i tried to put a motor on each of the axles in 90 degrees! I have studied a lot of building instructions and forums bit i had no luck! Can you please give me a little help or a starting point? Thanks a lot!

The lego switch can be used to reverse motor polarity, so you can put all the motors on the same channel, depends on the design.

This is something I would like to do but never found a way to make it work, so GL.

Hi JM1971!

Thanks for your answer! I am looking for a simple way to put a motor to an axle! In the smallest range! I am new to LEGO technic and want to start from the beginning! Thanks again!

With modern parts, I don't think you can get much simpler than this:

Hi D3K

I know the way you showed! But how can i put the motor 90 desgrees to axle?

That is 90 degrees to the axle? aka perpendicular

I don't quite follow what you are aiming at... Maybe a picture of your little truck woult help clarify things? :classic:

You are right! I will try to make some photos tomorrow! Photos are much better for explaining :-)

Thanks

Kind regards

Hi Ryan!

You are right! 90 degrees to the frame! THANK you for translating me!!!

I am also not quite sure what you are aiming at, but if you want to attach two M motor to two axels you might want to take a look as Mahj tanks chassis. He managed to attach an M motor in a very compact way to an axel,

So you want the output of the motor to be in paralell with the actual axle, sort of like this:

Or is there something I'm not getting

Thanks for your help.

My idea is that the axle from the Motor is 90 degrees to the driving axle. So the M-Motor Comes from the top .On the axle from te M-Motor

should be a 20 tooth double bevel (piece number 32269) and on the drivin axle a 12 tooth bevel (Piece number 6589).

And I want to use this idea for the 2 axles on th rear wheels.
