TheUtilityBelt Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 (edited) Hey again! Back with another Ch ll, I am! Here is my Cat C as a collab with RBCustoms. When he'll get his done, I don't know. But this is an assault on the drow controlled fortress of Darr-Goth. My sig-fig (werewolf) is leading the attack on the gate as a distraction while RBC's forces will do something else. With the help of the elves, the drow will fall! The elves! The Battle Orcs! >:( Me, Sir Henry (gold sword), and his son (black hair). More pics on my flickr, as usual. C&C welcome and Brick On! ~TUB32 Edited May 26, 2014 by TheUtilityBelt32 Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Great figs. Baseplate seems a little plain though. Quote
Scaevola Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Very nice figs. The scene would be enhanced by more developed landscaping, and the main tree looks a little blocky. Nice fig posing with the battle too though Quote
MKJoshA Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 My favorite parts are the homemade centaurs and the arrow sticking out of the orc's throat. Quote
Gideon Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 (edited) Great minifig posing, I especially like the technique with the lever arrow in the orc throat The landscaping and the could be improved however. Perhaps make the road a bit less straight and add some more variation to the surrounding ground? Edited May 27, 2014 by Gideon Quote
TheUtilityBelt Posted May 27, 2014 Author Posted May 27, 2014 Thanks, guys! The centaurs are my 8 year old brothers design, so he should get some credit! I will also try and improve the landscape. Quote
mccoyed Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 (edited) Your 8 year old brother is responsible for one of the best brickbuilt centaur designs I've seen. Tell him I said so. :P But I gotta say that the fact your MOC contains barely-changed elements of the Warg Attack set from The Hobbit seems a bit rushed and lazy. I think you would be better served using those pieces (the rock outcropping and tree) as inspiration for your own work. Edited May 30, 2014 by mccoyed Quote
soccerkid6 Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Good battle posing I think it might have been better to make the base of the build a bit smaller so you have more pieces for detailing the landscape Quote
