Takanuinuva Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 I've noticed some of the parts on my series one Mixels have begun to develop small cracks. Shuff and Zaptor have small cracks in there slope pieces. The keetorange slope on Zaptor and the light grey cheese slopes on Shuff along with one of the 1x2 dark grey slopes. Also I had to replace the 1x1 clip plate on Zaptor and the 1x2 hinge brick on Zaptor's head. Keep in mind I've only taken them apart to mix them roughly 3 times each and the parts are still useable. Is anyone else seeing cracks on there Mixels' bricks. Or did I just get a bad copy. My Flain hasn't had any parts cracking yet though I've gotten some extra red 1x2 hinge bricks just in case. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 I'm sure it isn't limited to the mixels. I have tons of bricks and cheese slopes cracking before I even touch them. I think it is just the thin connection spot. Maybe contact LEGO? They never send me free parts, but every one else seems to get them. Quote
Takanuinuva Posted May 28, 2014 Author Posted May 28, 2014 I have spares. Also I just made a bricklink order to get some replacement cheese slopes. The seller lives in the same province as me so I'd get them faster than from Lego. Quote
Takanuinuva Posted May 28, 2014 Author Posted May 28, 2014 How is the condition of the balljoint/sockets? Perfect. No signs of loosening or breaking. My main problem is mainly with the slopes. Quote
samlr Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Your problem is not new and not so rare. I opened a topic about this problem occurring on set 10221. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=94737#entry1873729 You can contact TLC and ask them for free replacement parts. If everybody does this, I hope they'll end up by reacting and finding a solution to this ! SamLr Quote
Mesonak Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Wow; when I opened this topic I figured it was surely about the socket pieces. Good to hear that those, at least, are doing okay. Quote

If you go to their Customer Service link, click on the link that says you have received a broken or missing part in a set, and they should express ship it to you for free within a day. I have done this several times before, so not sure why it isn't working for you... Quote
Agent Fusion Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Hmmm, odd. At least the ball joints are intact! Quote
