Traditional Bus Station

I've been on a rampage building Chicken Bus after Chicken Bus and I've finally got around to building a Bus Depot/Station for them. The building has been through several iterations and styles but I've finally got to a point where it had enough of a run down feel to it so that it would fit in with my economically depressed Lego City.

Here's the main facade and of course it has broken windows, cracked stucco and exposed brickwork.

There's a display on the roof - with another small scale Chicken Bus - just in case no-one realizes that it's a Bus Depot and I used some SNOT to build the circles in the facade.

The view from the rear of the building. As I built the glass-curved roof structure it turned into something that looked like it came from a British Rail circa early-1990s design manual. And although it invoked painful memories of too many years commuting into London I decided to keep it.

And there's an interior with a waiting room, departure board and luggage lockers

And a Bathroom area behind the wall with the arrow pointing the way.

And a final image with yet another Chicken Bus

I hope you enjoyed it! Comments, criticisms, and ridicule most welcome - now excuse me I have a bus to catch!

brilliant work eurotrash.. I always like how your builds have a more realistic look and reflect reality than some of the more 'shiny' Lego cities

I'd like to see it in amongst your depressed city.

I like to see your whole city, is that possible?

One of these sunny days I'll move all the builds outside, take pictures and post them here. I promise it'll be soon.

.....I can't wait to see what's next dude ?

I'm morphing the triple-decker Harry Potter purple Knight Bus into a 7-wide single decker Airport transit bus at the moment, but those colors are difficult to work with without it turning into something that looks like an eggplant with windows.

Thanks for all the comments. They really are appreciated!

Very good MOC.

I'm not sure this would fit among any of the current Modular buildings,

unless you have modified some to fit into your run-down area of town?

This is awesome! I love the scene at the top of the building, especially the little bus. You've also nailed the rundown look, with the broken glass, peeling paint and crumbling bricks.

The "cracked" windows is a hugely creative technique - I hope you take it as a compliment that I'm tempted to use it for my Factory MOC! Very nice work on the mountains as well - at first glance I thought they were actually the single-brick ones Lego makes.

As usual, you set the bar for excellence. Thank you much for sharing, Sir, and providing an MOC rich in detail and techniques to provide inspiration to the rest of us!
