Edwin Korstanje Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 (edited) Best EB members. After more than a half year of commission work to design and deliver building sets for a couple of firms. I have found finnaly the time to build something for my self . It is a tug boat the Smit Cheetah and is build at the same style and scale ( 1/87) as the building sets i haved designed, only with this one i have no budget limet. For on mine cabinet it have a display, but for taking outside pictures it have a standard. The smale scale is very difficult to work in and is lot harder to work with than mine normal 1/30 scale. Greetings Edwin. Edited June 13, 2014 by VFracingteam Quote
lego2lego Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 How come, "cute" is the word that springs to mind? Beautiful build though! Quote
captainmib Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Very difficult to work in... Welp, it doesn't show, because it looks amazingly well. Can you already make a living out of commission work? Quote
Lakop Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Excellent work! Boats and ships have never been my strongest area. I spend a lot of time admiring the work of others with very little time to build my own. H Quote
emilstorm Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Really good work The crane looks great, and the way you did the fenders works really well. And all that stuff on the forecastle looks amazing, nice level of detail Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted May 30, 2014 Author Posted May 30, 2014 (edited) Thanks all for the great reactions so far . @captainmid: No i can't not live from it jet . @Bzroom: 2 weeks ago i got from Smit towage with mine father a trip on his little brother the Smit Hudson ASD 2810 to bring in a smal oiltanker to the port of Rotterdam. The most amazing thing is that Lego can bring your anywhere where a normal men never wil comes Edited May 30, 2014 by VFracingteam Quote

Edwin Korstanje Posted May 31, 2014 Author Posted May 31, 2014 (edited) This build is amazing as I told you already!!! Love the scale and all that comes with it. Nice pictures!!! Thanks mate . With mine normal scale 1/30 i can make every detail on it, but with this crazy small scale it's the trick that you must not over kill it in details . Edited June 2, 2014 by VFracingteam Quote
legomuppet9 Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Looks so cute compared with your other builds but is probably still rather large Is it possible for a comparison with one of your bigger ships? Quote
