May 28, 200717 yr All-time favourite is Red Dwarf - Sci Fi comeday about the last human being alive, 3,000,000 years into space Current favourites are Lost and 24
May 28, 200717 yr Naval Criminal Investigate Service ( NCIS) is currently my favourite TV show because of the excellent characterisation, exciting stories and the humour.
May 28, 200717 yr 24, Rescue Me, The Simpsons and Family Guy. Yay, Family Guy will appear on Norwegian TV again on July 4th! :'-)
May 28, 200717 yr I cannot speak for myself, as I don't watch TV. The audience here is 8 and a 10 year old girls Naruto and Naruto Shipuuden rule this house. Young boy with a beast trapped inside his body has to grow up and learn to harness the power of that beast in order to fulfil his ambition of becoming the main protector (Hokage) of his ninja village. Strong ensemble cast with the other ninjas. Avatar was the most favoured show last year, but since it has gone into oblivion waiting for the third season, interest has faded (stupid Nick people....). I have to say, having been forced to watch that show (Naruto) many times, it's not bad. Lousy animation, lots of cheesy humour, but it has strong characters and lots of "heart" without being overly emotional. I can see why it has had such a long stay at the top of the kids' Anime world.
May 28, 200717 yr OK lets try and have a list for you !! Lets hope I don't forget anything !! Classic: * Miami Vice (just bought season 3 today hehe) * Highlander * Oz * Law & Order * Homicide Humour: * South Park * Simpsons * Cheers Japanimation: * Captain Harlock * Saint Seya * Goldorack (...) EDIT: G, *wacko* how can I have forgotten the great Clone Wars !! Oh well, my error has been fixed ;-) *yoda*
May 28, 200717 yr Hmm, Doctor Who obviously. And that includes the classic series'. Also a fan of CSI, as long as it's Vegas. I can watch the other two, but they're nowhere near as good. House, now that's really good, especially at the moment. Top Gear, very funny. And I guess Have I Got News For You. Sadly, it's finished now, but Life On Mars was really good. Especially the Cortina. And the song of the same name. I also like stuff like the Walking With... series. And the classic series of ER, which I'm watching on DVD very slowly (7 series backlog to get through). I just don't think it's as good now as it was at the start. Sure it's not bad, and it fills an hour, but it's just not quite there.
May 28, 200717 yr I don't watch TV much, but I try to keep up with Lost and 4400. I also watch a CSI (Vegas / Miami) episode now and then. My all-time favorite TV series must be (in no particular order or classification): - Twin Peaks - The Practice - Monty Python's Flying Circus - Bottom - The Simpsons - Seinfeld I've just realised it's mostly comedy. :-$ :-) Edited May 28, 200717 yr by Cabby
May 28, 200717 yr In no particular order: The Simpsons Family Guy Bottom Recess ;-) Doctor Who The Last Detective X-D Probably a couple of others, too, but oh well. Futurama's okay, but there's not enough of it. I've seen 'em all too many times. TK
May 28, 200717 yr Seinfeld Family Guy Justice League Unlimited Smallville The OC Angel Flash (the 90s TV show) Legion Of SuperHeroes CSI Cold Case
May 28, 200717 yr 24 Doctor Who Prison Break Simpsons Futurama Family Guy House ER CSI:Vegas (Can't stand Miami though, with that man who always takes off his sunglasses then puts them back on again. If you've seen it you'll know what I mean) *sweet* Criminal Minds Spiderman: The Animated series phew I'm out of breath :-D
May 28, 200717 yr OK, mine are: Sci-fi: Stargate Startrek TNG Babylon 5 Action: Miami Vice Anime: Dragonball (the whole universe) Hellsing (when it was airing in my region)
May 29, 200717 yr Can't stand Miami though, with that man who always takes off his sunglasses then puts them back on again. If you've seen it you'll know what I mean Oh yeah, I know what you mean. New York is too bizarre for my liking- a string of unlucky coincidences or bizarre crimes knitted together. And Miami can't be taken seriously, for the reason you pointed out. Sure I'll watch them, but they're nowhere near as good.
May 29, 200717 yr My all time favourite is The West Wing. It's a show about the everyday antics of The White House and it's staff. It's fascinating, engaging, thrilling, and the cast is flawless. Martin Sheen plays the President and he is my favourite actor ever. *y* It finished a few years back after seven seasons (A President can only serve 8 years after all!) Second is The Sopranos. It follows the life of Tony Soprano, a mob/mafia boss from New Jersey. He has to juggle his real family and his "other" family (The people he works with) at the same, while also evading the feds. Again, engaging, thrilling, must see drama. :-) Currently in it's last season, season 6. My current favourite is Heroes. It's about a group of ordinary people who start discovering they have supernatural powers, such as the ability to fly, stop time, heal themselves, etc. However it's on the eve of a massive disaster that is about to destroy New York City, and they have to stop it. Season 2 will be starting soon. X-D Can't wait!
May 30, 200717 yr Author Oh man.I forgot I even posted this.Well I have no official favorite tv show.I guess there's MASH,Antiques Roadshow *wub* ,and the CSI shows.
May 30, 200717 yr Stop yo' bashin' of CSI Miami. As a big fan or Horatio Caine and his shades of justice I can't believe you guys don't like it. He's like the best! So yeah, since we're doing lists... in no particular order... NCIS CSI CSI:NY CSI:Miami Spooks Hustle Firefly My Name Is Earl

Lousy animation, lots of cheesy humour, but it has strong characters and lots of "heart" without being overly emotional. I can see why it has had such a long stay at the top of the kids' Anime world. Naruto rules the house here too. But the audience is a 25 year old boy. The story itself is really important in those animes so if you only watch episodes from time to time it's hard to get 100% out of it. As for the other : - CSI - NCIS - Atlantis - SG1
May 30, 200717 yr Current favs have to be: Family Guy South Park Simpsons American Dad What can i say im an animation freak :-D
