Hello everyone,

between all this sorting and slow continuation on the area around my train station, I got something I can present here - 25 colorful steps:

Inspired by real colorful stairs such as in Istanbul during the protests there last year.

And in case someone is wondering why there are Star Wars people walking around: There must be a big SW fan convention somewhere in town...

So many colors, and there were still some left... wouldn't have been possible to build this in the 1980s. :)

I forgot a sign on that bar at the bottom right - "use lakeside path at your own risk" or similar.

This is a very nice addition - to an incredible project. Do you have any progress plans on it - when you'll finish it, or at least part of it, so you can display it somewhere? I'd love to see it :)

Nice stairs you have there!

By the way, the stairs is leading up to some housing on baseplates? How are these secured to the rest of your build?

Thanks, everyone!

Finish? Given all the time spent with sorting and, well, non-Lego stuff in life, that will take many years. (And if I'd finish it soon, what would I do next...?) But it's not meant to be displayed in total anywhere in public, only parts of it from time to time - the Pet Shop Street was on display at the Bricking Bavaria events last year in Munich and this year in Dachau (near Munich) .

Just like on the left of the gap, as you can see in the last picture: non-Lego things called wood, reinforced with steel. The baseplates on the right are just overhanging a little.

Nice work, it really brings a cheerful variation into a grey surroundings. The colours in each separate part of the staircase are also cleverly arranged - colder colours together, brighter colours together etc. Well done.

This looks great, love the use of all of those colors but it would be great if those slope pieces had the colors as well. Also I think there is also a Lego Movie fan convention :P
