TheLegGodt Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Fantastic work - I really love that film and this is instantly recognisable! Quote
Actaeon Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 This is pretty awesome! It looks incredibly realistic! Quote
A Plastic Infinity Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Very impressive, too bad I won't be able to see it IRL! The stickers are a nice touch, too. Quote
dr_spock Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 I see your Schwartz is strong. Good work, Chris. Quote
samurai-turtle Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 I hope to see more in the quest for more money. Nice moc over all. Quote
Zerobricks Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 I always loved spaceballs! Would be a great lego idea! Awesome work man, can you try mini scale too? Quote
Microdragons Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 No sir, I did not see you playing with your dolls sir. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Brilliant! Very well done. I love it. I'd recommend going a few steps further and making more characters. But what we have here is great. I just got back from Schaumburg/Chicago area last Wednesday. If only my job travel could work around LEGO events... Quote
Modulex Guy Posted June 10, 2014 Author Posted June 10, 2014 Thanks guys! This was such a fun build, glad everyone likes it! Quote
Oky Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Awesome recreation, Chris! The Schwartz is strong in this one! The Eagle 5 is spot-on! Does it have an interior? If so, I would love to see it! Quote
Xyver Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Very, very cool. Those figures are very well done, any chance of a Yogurt? This is one of my all time favorite movies. I have a Mini VW Camper scale Eagle 5 built for the pimp my camper comp which I put into my display. I always love it when somebody recognises it (sadly not many do). I have thought about making one the same scale as the 10220, but yours is so impressive, I don't think I will. Quote
HJR-Holland Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 I was really pissed off when I saw it at first, as I am in the middle of creating one as well! But then I saw this isn't minifig-sized, whereas mine will be just that. Nice build though! Can the back side flip open for the rockets or is it fixed? Quote
lightningtiger Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 AWESOME work 'Modulex Guy'......but where's Yoghurt ? I love this film......"What you went over my Helmet ?" Brick On with Barf 'Modulex Guy' ! Quote
Kez Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Haha great work for a great film. Can we expect to see pizza the hut? Quote
Modulex Guy Posted June 18, 2014 Author Posted June 18, 2014 I'd recommend going a few steps further and making more characters. But what we have here is great. I thought about doing more characters, but I kept it to the 5 that were seen during the action figure scene in the movie. Awesome recreation, Chris! The Schwartz is strong in this one! The Eagle 5 is spot-on! Does it have an interior? If so, I would love to see it! Thanks! It does have half of an interior, I didn't get a chance to finish it before Brickworld, I might still add some more details to it later. Very, very cool. Those figures are very well done, any chance of a Yogurt? Like I said before, I just have the original 5 "action figures" from the movie Can the back side flip open for the rockets or is it fixed? I have a pic in my Flickr account with it both open and closed, so yet, the hyper jets retract into the back and the cover closes! Quote
