legoman19892 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 It's whatever time of the day you usually hit the bottle and you pull out your LEGO bricks. Does adding alcohol to your building process turn you into Frank Lloyd Wright or a colorblind toddler? Quote
Dr Leg O Brick Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 It depends which alcoholic beverage we're looking at. Whisky and Brandy tends to increase my concentration whereas rum for example turns me into a blithering idiot. Wine, larger, beer and anything else you can throw at me has varied results. Quote
eurotrash Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Helps with my building abilities - definitely hinders my ability to write and post threads about it.... Quote
grum64 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 I find a drop of Drambuie neither helps nor hinders my creative process. It just makes the time spent more enjoyable. Quote
Zerobricks Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 I never built and drank at once...I dont think it really helps for me... Quote
Aanchir Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 I wouldn't know, because I only ever really drink alcohol in social situations where I'm unlikely to be building with LEGO, and I am a light drinker so I usually don't notice any considerable difference in the way I think anyhow. Quote
turbo1013 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 well i suck at building, compared to you guyes, but i have a drink to relax once in a while ,, more than 2 and i get sleepy,, not sure if it does anythign to my building abilty, Quote
Chimaninja454 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Hehe... Coffee does the good job for me so I have enough time to build something with Legos! :P Quote
rancorbait Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 A tall cup of black coffee does the job for me! Quote
talos Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 I could have a coffee, maybe a beer, depends on the time of day. I'm not sure if it makes me any more creative, it's more relaxing mostly, time just flies by when I'm working on something. Quote
Paul B Technic Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 All about the amount, small amounts seem to help me to some point. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 I never thought about 'drinking & building'. I hardly drink anything at all except once in a blue moon and I can enjoy the build process being plain sober just fine. Now one time I did get a little drunk while playing one of the Burnout games and somehow I actually drove better. Quote

Same here, on both counts. Quote
