Posted June 12, 201410 yr It's whatever time of the day you usually hit the bottle and you pull out your LEGO bricks. Does adding alcohol to your building process turn you into Frank Lloyd Wright or a colorblind toddler?
June 12, 201410 yr It depends which alcoholic beverage we're looking at. Whisky and Brandy tends to increase my concentration whereas rum for example turns me into a blithering idiot. Wine, larger, beer and anything else you can throw at me has varied results.
June 12, 201410 yr Helps with my building abilities - definitely hinders my ability to write and post threads about it....
June 12, 201410 yr I find a drop of Drambuie neither helps nor hinders my creative process. It just makes the time spent more enjoyable.
June 12, 201410 yr I wouldn't know, because I only ever really drink alcohol in social situations where I'm unlikely to be building with LEGO, and I am a light drinker so I usually don't notice any considerable difference in the way I think anyhow.
June 12, 201410 yr well i suck at building, compared to you guyes, but i have a drink to relax once in a while ,, more than 2 and i get sleepy,, not sure if it does anythign to my building abilty,
June 12, 201410 yr Hehe... Coffee does the good job for me so I have enough time to build something with Legos! :P
June 13, 201410 yr I could have a coffee, maybe a beer, depends on the time of day. I'm not sure if it makes me any more creative, it's more relaxing mostly, time just flies by when I'm working on something.
June 21, 201410 yr I never thought about 'drinking & building'. I hardly drink anything at all except once in a blue moon and I can enjoy the build process being plain sober just fine. Now one time I did get a little drunk while playing one of the Burnout games and somehow I actually drove better.
