It's whatever time of the day you usually hit the bottle and you pull out your LEGO bricks. Does adding alcohol to your building process turn you into Frank Lloyd Wright or a colorblind toddler?

Coffee does the trick for me.

It depends which alcoholic beverage we're looking at. Whisky and Brandy tends to increase my concentration whereas rum for example turns me into a blithering idiot. Wine, larger, beer and anything else you can throw at me has varied results.

depends on what amount I guess ;)

Helps with my building abilities - definitely hinders my ability to write and post threads about it....

I find a drop of Drambuie neither helps nor hinders my creative process. It just makes the time spent more enjoyable.

I never built and drank at once...I dont think it really helps for me...

I wouldn't know, because I only ever really drink alcohol in social situations where I'm unlikely to be building with LEGO, and I am a light drinker so I usually don't notice any considerable difference in the way I think anyhow.

well i suck at building, compared to you guyes, but i have a drink to relax once in a while ,, more than 2 and i get sleepy,,

not sure if it does anythign to my building abilty,

Hehe... Coffee does the good job for me so I have enough time to build something with Legos! :P

A tall cup of black coffee does the job for me!

I could have a coffee, maybe a beer, depends on the time of day. I'm not sure if it makes me any more creative, it's more relaxing mostly, time just flies by when I'm working on something.

All about the amount, small amounts seem to help me to some point.

I never thought about 'drinking & building'. I hardly drink anything at all except once in a blue moon and I can enjoy the build process being plain sober just fine. Now one time I did get a little drunk while playing one of the Burnout games and somehow I actually drove better.

Same here, on both counts.
