paostmo Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Here is a MOC I made awhile ago. Finally uploading pics now. It's a clinic and home. Hope you like it. Flickr photos here: https://www.flickr.c...57644730935990/ Quote
eurotrash Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Good looking interior on both the buildings, although I think the patient has already received enough painkillers. I really like the living room on the Sand Green house - those color combinations work very well. But I think my favorite detail is the hobo with the dog next to the dumpster in the alleyway! Quote
Nightfall Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 The buildings look really great. Nice details! Quote
lightningtiger Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Excellent modulars and scenery too 'paostmo'......any more coming to join the street ? Brick On 'paostmo' ! Quote
talos Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Really nice, I like the hobo in the alley too...the old broken down sofa is great ;) Quote
paostmo Posted June 13, 2014 Author Posted June 13, 2014 Excellent modulars and scenery too 'paostmo'......any more coming to join the street ? Brick On 'paostmo' ! Thanks! I'm working on a police station now. I'm really happy with the ground floor, but I have "builder's block" now. Everything I try for the second floor just looks.... not quite right. Quote

Yooha Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 The alley between the two house is a nice idea fro a modular structure. But why didn't you use the red cross instead of the Swiss flag? And the "used" sofa in the alley :D Quote
paostmo Posted June 13, 2014 Author Posted June 13, 2014 Oh man. I totally confused the red cross and Swiss flag! That's a little embarrassing. Thank you for the nice comments twenty6twelve. You mentioned a lot of what I was going for in my build. I'm happy that the little things don't go unnoticed! Quote
Kristel Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Nice! Love the alleyway, especially the broken couch. I'm also impressed with all the interior details you've squeezed into these narrow buildings! I must admit, though, that the first thing I thought was that these look like they should be part of larger castles or the watch towers set amongst the city walls They have a very "castle" feel to them. gotoAndLego Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Nice houses, I'm glad more people are doing alleys. Quote
Man with a hat Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Nice ones. There are a lot of interesting details as already mentioned. I like the laundry on top of the roof for example. The colours for the building are perfect, although it seems a bit dark inside the clinic itself. Quote
Kivi Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 As the others have already said, great use of space inside both buildings. Even though they are only 12 studs wide, everything inside is neatly arranged and neither room looks crammed. But the best part is definitely the alley. Quote
3BrickFriends Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 I love the drunk in the alley way and the internal features are great. Nice work. Quote
rob-cubed Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 The alley is excellent! Something we'll never see LEGO produce, but no city is complete without one! Your interior details are very nice, but the clothes line on top is another great, realistic detail. Quote
