MKJoshA Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Another build I missed the first time around! This is a great MOC. I especially love the Chima parts for the figurehead. Quote
Gideon Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Very nice build! I especially like the shoreline and the overgrown cliff, and the boat of course! UoP +1 for the claims. Quote
Gabe Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 That water design is superb Great beach and cliff too, the light green flowers on the normal green leaves give some nice contrast. The boat itself is excellent, I like the rudder One thing I always appreciate about your builds is how you use log bricks in the sides of your rockwork for some nice texture Thanks SK, glad you like my build! Yeah, the humble log brick certainly has it's detractors, but i find it's quite a useful piece. Such a nice execution!!! The water is amazing as well! I love how you did all those shades in the water :) +1 for all claims :) Cheers Damaximus! Thanks, i tried to increase the range of water shades by adding differently coloured clips underneath the trans-tiles - glad to hear that you liked the effect! Your builds never fail. That water is beautiful! And the ship is awesome too! Another build I missed the first time around! This is a great MOC. I especially love the Chima parts for the figurehead. Very nice build! Rogue Angel Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Excellent brick built boat! I love the skeletons rising out of the water. The water work is well done, and I really like the log on the shoreline - a small detail that I think adds a lot. Great entry! Quote
