dundarach Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Not sure if I posted these yet, however before I dismantled the current railway....my little boy needed a new bedroom! I made a couple of crash test video's...I know it's bad taste and hate smashing Lego up, however....kind of fun, so here goes... Don't panic however, the railway is simply moving down stairs and exciting plans are a foot... Quote
JGW3000 Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Oh the Humanity! Well done, dundarach. Would the train leave the tracks if the "accident" happened on a straight section of rail? Quote
dundarach Posted June 17, 2014 Author Posted June 17, 2014 JGW - oh man don't ask that now....that would have been great to test, but it'll have to wait as.... The train room is now looking like: Although the lego is in his old room... :) And the plan is: (trying to keep a bit more room free on this one, whilst having both maximum track and some road/town available, the sidings at the top are station and engine shed respectively.... Slick Willie Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 That was awesome! I am already starting to feel sorry for what I am going to put my trains and miscellaneous accessories through tonight. For scientific purposes only, of course... Quote
Legotom Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Metroliner! Nooooooooooooooo! Although having said that it seems to have stayed in one piece and most of the train stayed upright. Very important in a crash. PS. I'm very jealous of the number of Metroliner coaches you have. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Very nice new layout ...I wish all the best for your trains! ;-) Quote
