SmoothJazz Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 (edited) Sort of a revamp of Evo, with purple as the main color instead of yellow. This was largely an experiment in working with the HF build system. Skeleton: Edited June 19, 2014 by SmoothJazz Quote
zero1312 Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Very nice!! I'd like to borrow that for a future Moc. If that's okay though. Quote

Hunter1 Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 (edited) Really nice MOC! Interesting construction - quite simple, but well-functioning. -H.unter Edited June 23, 2014 by Hunter1 Quote
Leewan Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 That's an interesting concept. How is the neck attached ? Quote
SmoothJazz Posted June 24, 2014 Author Posted June 24, 2014 That's an interesting concept. How is the neck attached ? The neck is attached to the XT4 torso as shown in the following image. The HF bone snaps on to the same ball joint as the socket. Quote
Leewan Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Oh, I see. Thanks ! This assembly seems a bit weak, though. x/ Quote
SmoothJazz Posted June 25, 2014 Author Posted June 25, 2014 Oh, I see. Thanks ! This assembly seems a bit weak, though. x/ There are also some technic pieces attached to the sides, which hold it upright. Quote
Leewan Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Yeah, I saw that with the purple spikes, but my main concern is that the technic pin which holds the neck is only pushed halfway through the hole. Quote
godzilla Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 In terms of a assembly point of view, this is an intresting body design. Is it all right if I could use it? In terms of a finished product, I feel that there is way too much purple compared to yellow. I would replace a pair of purple armor pieces with yellow, maybe even two pairs. Quote

It's fine if you use the body design. Anyway, I too would have preferred more yellow. However, the only yellow armor shells I have are size 3, too small to replace any in this MOC. Quote
TwistLaw Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Very nice MOC! Never liked EVO, but this construction is interesting. Quote
thefriendski Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 I really like this. You pulled off a lot of pretty cool stuff with the very restrictive hero factory building system. He still seems a bit stiff, but that sort of comes with building with HF pieces. Quote
plew2000 Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Wow this is very well made. This should be a set! Quote
