Posted June 25, 201410 yr I know there's an over saturation of these at the moment, but I really really wanted to build my own. The moc was built over the course of a few days, starting as a followup to my Buster Gear and then evolving into what it is right now. So this brings us to Ichigo, it's not based off of any Mobile Suit in particular, but I wanted to capture the basic design of a generic hero mech. It probably gets upgraded mid-season with more advanced weaponry and equipment :v I think this was my most ambitious project yet. So yeah, your comments and criticism is greatly appreciated!
June 25, 201410 yr Awesome mix of System and CCBS, WARHEAD ! I especially like the arms and the upper torso, its shaping is very nicely done. I don't really like all those rounded parts on the legs, but it's just a matter of personal taste, you still nailed them. ;)
June 25, 201410 yr Dang, the torso and legs are very well made. Almost artistically made. If it were up to me, I would add some bulk to the lower arms.
June 25, 201410 yr Very nice! I love how you've captured the distinctive features of a Gundam perfectly - the V-fin, red chin, protruding cheek sections of the helmet, chest vents, beam sabers mounted on the backpack, and the beam rifle! And of course not forgetting the protruding crotch seen on some mobile suits!
June 26, 201410 yr Wow, just... wow! If I only could build like you, Warhead. The design of the torso, head and legs is awesome. I love the look of the gun and the way how you build upper arms. Really good work -H.unter
June 29, 201410 yr Great work Warhead, I love a lot of aspects of this, especially the shaping around his torso and the thrusters on his back. Also The usage of the 2.0 "gun" piece in his weapon is really very creative.
June 30, 201410 yr as others have said, awesome! this is really cool. fun fact: ichigo means strawberry in japanese, so the name literally means strawberry gundam.
June 30, 201410 yr Author as others have said, awesome! this is really cool. fun fact: ichigo means strawberry in japanese, so the name literally means strawberry gundam. I chose the name because the finished thing reminded me of a strawberry-vanilla ice cream. :v Thanks everybody for the compliments!
