MCNwakeboard Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 A little early, but I wanted to share a small project that I worked on. Happy Fourth of July, Ameribricks! Quote
frumpy Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Nice work. I love to see these types of scenes brought to life in lego. Quote
Themadpatter Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 I see bilbo Baggins has infiltrated congress :p But, really good MOC Quote
ManInATopHat Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 (edited) Very cool. I know some lads and lasses in the Pirates forum would like this too. Great work on the curtains and flags! Edited June 28, 2014 by ManInATopHat Quote
Scaevola Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Nice curtains, and I like your representation of the Continental Congress Quote
Lady K Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Well done! Love the flags on the wall. The curtains are nice too. Nice comparison with the picture. Great job representing the Continental Congress. Quote
Gary The Procrastinator Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 I am so happy to see this. An absolutely critical moment in US history, rendered so well in LEGO. My congratulations, and I hope you keep building in this arena. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Nicely done. Very clever build. I like the curtains and the flags, like many others before me. The fig placement is good, as is the green plate to serve as the rug. There are only so many useful licensed heads, but this works well. Yay, for Ameribricks! Quote
Tuinman Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 (edited) Well done. You make the scene come to life (well , Legolife that is). And I like the curtain and flags. Edited July 1, 2014 by Tuinman Quote
fred67 Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Thanks for the MOC! It's really well done, and I'm always happy when people remember they're not getting the day off because it's July 4th, they're getting it off because it's Independence Day. Quote
coolguy2323 Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 I am so happy to see this. An absolutely critical moment in US history, rendered so well in LEGO. My congratulations, and I hope you keep building in this arena. +1, very well done OP Quote
Maxim I Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Amazing scene!! I love the curtains and the carpet on the floor! The only thing I would have done differently are the flags. The idea behind it is very cleverly done of you, but the colours are not at the right place comparing to the original painting :) Quote
