plastic_ati Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Wow, Instant Love! I like the way you expand it and those nice details .... :) I agree with "laka" that the buildings are just "simple" objects in the diorama, albeit very beautiful ones, of course. Quote
The Undo Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 This is outstanding! So much life and details on such grand scale. Amazing! Quote
ItsaBRICKS Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Great as always! Keep the updates coming! Quote
3BrickFriends Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Great city layout. There's so much going on. The palm tree design is really nice. The newspaper kiosk looks great and the entrance to the underground train station fits perfectly. The beach is very welcoming, and that lifeguard tower is excellent. Quote
Serpico Posted October 6, 2014 Author Posted October 6, 2014 Thanks for comments. Some more photos..... Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 It looks even better, I really like the water frontage dock and the foaming sea lapping the beach. Brick On 'Serpico' ! Quote
LAKAbricks Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 And I just noticed how well transparent tiles work as water. When you take pictures in the right angle, you get the reflections of the motifs behind. Really nice looking effect. Quote
Wodanis Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I was wondering how you built the docks in combination with base plates to align it properly? I am really loving what you have been doing! Keep the photos coming. Excited to see what's next. Quote
scottwb2010 Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Really liking this City square and even more so now with its beach fronted promenade. Great use of tiles and round plates to create water scene! Quote
Serpico Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 (edited) the tourists slowly began to pour in to the city  Now we are trying to build a lighthouse. Greetings!!! Edited October 9, 2014 by Serpico Quote
andyscouse Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 I hadn't seen the beach area before - particularly love the jetty around the wall, and the wall itself with its arches and ballustrades! Superb! Quote
Serpico Posted October 16, 2014 Author Posted October 16, 2014 Now , we will build this lighthouse..... It is the same style as the wall of the beach. What do you think? Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Very nice digital design, though some of those parts don't exist in dark red. I can't wait to it in brick........Brick On 'Serpico' ! Quote
LAKAbricks Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 A very historical looking lighthouse. I actually come to think of Pharos lighthouse of Alexandria. Quote
snowvictim Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Wow. I'm a palm grower, and those Washingtonia palms you've made are outstanding! Of course the square itself is magnificent, that goes without doubt. But kudos on the palms. Quote
Serpico Posted October 24, 2014 Author Posted October 24, 2014 (edited) A work progress ... Edited October 24, 2014 by Serpico Quote
Wodanis Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Very nice Serpico! That was a quick build from design to reality. I'm assuming you had the parts already? I really like your design, simple and Mediterranean. Quote
