I'm back! Had a building session for 3 hours yesterday, and the result is a 200 piece ATV!

Features:

- Rear independent suspension

- Front pendular suspension

- HOG steering

- Opening rear gate

Let me know what you guys think!

Cute! What piece did you use for the hood?

I used 49423.

The front and back looks very good, but maybe you should try and improve the cab a bit more.

I would of used 3mm ridged hose with two small pins for the top of the cab.

I don't have any rigid hose that I haven't already cut (oops  )

Hi Victor,

To be honest; I am not too fond of the model itself, but your presentation is spot on!!! I would be very happy if other contestants would present their entry this way. Compliments

PS How does the front steering work?

Those wheels...OMG....my favorite wheels of all the times! still have them from the crane 8460 released in 1996! 18 years after and still have it!

Anyway spot on your presentation...but as Jim said I'm not too keen on your proposal!

To be honest, i'm not quite happy with the model idea either, but all my other ideas were way too complex (walking scorpion, multiaxis robot arm, etc.). Maybe I'll try a few other models, since this isn't final.

Anyways, the steering works like so:

The orange parts are the body mounts, purple parts are gearing, and green parts are the hubs.

Very good entry, i like it very much. I find it looking more like a mini-jeep, but nevertheless a cute little entry.

PS. Nice pics !

It was actually inspired by Polaris ATV's

yes cool model & good photos, but I think it needs 2 more wheels :classic:

does that mean image stitching is allowed ?

1 of the rules was (I think) only 1 photo allowed, but above clearly shows 2 smaller images stitched into a larger image

this should be clarified in the rules please :classic:

Awesome model! I would like it even more if the tailgate was red instead of yellow, and possibly replace the light bluish grey in the rear with dark bluish grey. Color schemes with 3 colors max. are the most appealing IMO. Good luck!

That's a valid point.

I will clarify this in the rules and especially in the Entry topic.

This image is like the backside of the box, where the features are highlighted. Very nice way of presenting your entry.

Good to know this is prefered for the entries. I actually wanted to put images around my "box image" highlighting the functions.
