skateboard34 Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 I haven't really been keeping up with LEGO news but is LEGO planning a Bionicle reboot? I know Hero Factory was a giant flop and I really would like to see more Bionicles again. Quote

Robert8 Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 I would like to see an Adventurers/Islanders crossover Quote
Dorayaki Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Ninja pirates... you know, I could see that working out pretty well... That has happened in Ninjago cartoon. It's either that the plot writers made that a wise hint for future subthemes, or that was just a simple waste. Lord of the Rings Well, to be optimistic, let's leave this reply in 2015/16 . Quote
Dragonlego27 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I'd love a special Castle crossover theme, which contains all (or nearly all) the elements of the different Castle themes, literally rebooting them all at the same time. At the centre is the Fantasy Castle line, with the humans and dwarfs, who now fight alongside elves (come on lego, make it happen . We want elves!) a new force who are allied with the forestman) against the evil forces of the Skeletons and trolls, who now have a new leader, Cerdic the Bull, with the Evil Wizard serving as an advisor. The WOLFPACK are also present, serving as Mercenaries or Sellswords in a rogue faction which generally harries the other forces and basically be awesome. they forge an alliance with the northern Vikings (with new monsters which are now moulded instead of brick built, who are also in league with the Dark Dragon Masters (more on them later). The kingdom of the humans is aided by the dragon masters, who are led by Majisto, who concentrates on fighting the Fright Nights, lead by Willa the Witch and Basil the Bat Lord, who are aided by the Dark Dragon Masters, who control some of the Viking monsters as well as their own black dragons. All these armies are focused on the staff of a long-dead wizard, the master of Majisto, the Evil Wizard, and Willa the Witch. The evil forces want to use it to rule all the kingdoms and the good guys are trying to stop them from attaining it. Lego, if you are reading this, please carry out this idea Quote
Herky Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Monster Fighters! I think they can do a lot more with this and everyone loved the HH so why not keep it going more? Quote

Lego, if you are reading this, please carry out this idea I like the idea of rebooting all of the castle themes into one big, story-based, theme. I don't know if I'd do everything the way you describe it though, but I love the idea of having them all come back to fight each other. Sort of a Super Smash Bros. type thing. Good idea there. Quote
Tariq j Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I'd like to see Indiana Jones and Harry Potter rebooted. Quote
Dragonlego27 Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Thanks Borador, I can understand why some would disagree with some of the specific storylines I posted but just the thought of putting them all together (as you compared with to Super Smash Bros.) is the only thing I really care about, not how which part fits in where. In the original post, I also forgot the Black Falcons ! So that's something which needs improvement already. Does anyone else have any other input? I really think we need to reboot all the Castle themes in universe at the same time in the same universe. Quote
TheDesuComplex Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 I would love to see Ice Planet 2002. It was such a creative idea, it had fun colors, and could have a lot of expansion. I can already see them remaking it with a rival faction of alien yetis. Quote

I can already see them remaking it with a rival faction of alien yetis. Ice Planet was amazing. It would be a shame if they changed the color scheme though. It was perfect! For me the answer is anything space. Classic space, Blacktron, or Magnetron. Just don't touch the color schemes! An all new space theme would be great too. Quote
Cagast Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Looks like a lot of you want to get rid of Chima. Me too. Adventurers reboot would be great, because last adventure theme Pharaoh's conquest was only in desert, Egypt, and Adventurers can be in Jungle and wherever else. And yes, last space theme ended in 2013, I thought they make a space theme every two years. So I would like something like old Blacktron, Ice Planet, Unitron. Also castle. Newer Castle themes like Castle 2013 are very simple and I don't think they are interesting at all. One faction fighting against other, with villains being black armored knights with a dragon and a wizard who lead them. Older themes like Forestmen, Black Falcons, Dragon Masters were much better because they had various different minifigures like in Castle 2007. Same with Pirates. Quote
Lego Otaku Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Classic space. The original mostly grey kind without so many tiny little pieces. A 500 piece ship from 1979 is much bigger than today's 1000 piece ship because back then tiny pieces weren't used as much. It was more about imagination to fill in the details, not slipping in a bunch of $0.001 plastic pieces. Forestmen!!! Quote
lifeinplastic Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 1) Paradisa (complete with an island airport and new proper moulded luggage trolleys) 2) Adventurers (some fun in the jungle please but don't go down the 'Dino' route) 3) Lego 'Town' ('sigh'... the good old days where the citizens of Legoland were always smiling happily - quite possibly because aggressive looking criminals didn't terrorize the urban landscape and they didn't have to pay excessive taxes to fund the ever increasing police force). Kalais Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 As many said before: - Old castle knight (Lions, Black, Falcons, Forest etc.) - no chrome updates, I think those new shiny helms looks cheap and simply bad. Old gray and black was muuuch better imho. - Pirates (in style of 1989 - Black Seas Barracuda and Eldorado Fortress are examples of perfect pirate design for me) - Space themes like M-Tron, Blackthrone, classic space Quote
Cagast Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 3) Lego 'Town' ('sigh'... the good old days where the citizens of Legoland were always smiling happily - quite possibly because aggressive looking criminals didn't terrorize the urban landscape and they didn't have to pay excessive taxes to fund the ever increasing police force). Yeah I forgot this one. Town was much better and there wasn't much police and crime. Quote
Count Bricktooth Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Count me in on the Classic Space, Castle (with less shiny stuff) and (smiling, happy) Town front- I'm also a sucker for Island/Jungle and would like to see Paradisa and Adventurers too. Quote
Columbus019 Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Lines Classic space-1979 stuff Classic castle-black falcons, lion knights, forestmen How to do it Classic space: make it all as good as the exo suit but make a new classic helmet mold Classic castle: In a castle set from a few years ago there was a black falcon, make everything as good as him. xboxtravis7992 Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 These are my ideas. A lot of them are themes I got very little of our missed out on their first release: Vikings Wild West "Mars Space" (anything with vacuum tubes!) Monorail (a modern day incarnation, no need to revive 30 year old sets) Exo-Force Quote
Gnac Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 I'd be really interested to see what a Racers revival could look like with all the new parts that have appeared in the 4-5 years since the theme was put to bed (particularly the Tiny Turbos and Technic-like stuff), but I think Speed Champions is making that one rather unlikely to happen. Quote
PicnicBasketSam Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Exo-Force, Power Miners, Classic Space, Harry Potter. I'm so sad to have missed those. Quote
