Alfadas Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Just as the title says, what kind of music do you listen to while you MOC? Or build sets or whatever Lego related. I will go first, I listen a lot to Sabaton, Amon Amarth, Nightwish, Megadeth, just Metal bands, spreading from Symphonic to power to thrash metal. Just with a lot of noise and guitars. That makes me build really fast. So, what do you guys listen to? (I am kinda new to Metal, if anyone has a great band, please also put it here) Alfadas Quote
jodawill Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 I always listen to Adventures in Odyssey. I'm a little old for it now, but I still do it because it's tradition. I've done it that way for 20 years now, so I see no reason to stop. Quote
Faron Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 I rarely listen to music, I am normally watching Netflix (currently Parks and Rec.) or I listen to youtube or podcasts while building Quote
plew2000 Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Hands down Pacific rim theme song! Yall should google it it is pretty amazing and sounds awesome! just remember Pacific Rim Theme Song. and some others but mostly pacific rim. Here is the pacific rim theme song on youtube:http: Quote
SirDuc Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Slayer and Arch Enemy at the moment. Good energy. Quote
TheOneVeyronian Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 This is just a few of the bands I listen to when I build (or doing anything else for that matter): Muse, Kasabian, You Me at Six, 30 Seconds to Mars, Green Day, Biffy Clyro, White Lies, My Chemical Romance, The Prodigy, Kaiser Chiefs etc. Basically anything alternative rock, electronic, punk and soft metal for me. Might explain why my MOC's are so varied I suppose Quote
harmacy Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I just put itunes on random and it comes up with a whole bunch of stuff - One minute its Meshuggah, the next its Beyonce. I just like some background music - not too worried about genre. Oh - jodawill - try Meshuggah, Mastodon and Gojira for some interesting Metal:) Quote
Captain Golden Hook Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 It varies, because I listen to pandora, but mostly green day, linkin park, 3 days grace, sum 41, kayne west (not sure if that is how you spell it) fort minor, eminem, apocalypta, and a lot of other great bands (including stone sour) that I am to lazy to name. Dr Leg O Brick Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Dean Martin, though I listen to him all the time anyway, I find it particularly relaxing while building. Quote
Boettner Builds Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 I mostly have my music collection on random, which results in a C R A Z Y mix! But I have found old big band jazz and classical to be nice. I have been known sometime to put "theme" music on while building certain themes Quote
rodiziorobs Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 (edited) If anything, video game music, like Bravely Default or classics like Zelda and Chrono Trigger. Even though it is a bit repetitive, the music was written specifically to play endlessly as background sound, so it works out. I play it on a loop at a low volume. It's nice to not have to put down my build to keep skipping over songs I'm not in the mood for. I save the rest of my music (rock, alt, metal, classic rock--pretty much anything non-country) for when I am at work. Edited July 16, 2014 by rodiziorobs Quote
