"Good, Evil, forces that fight eachother to no end. Light and Shadow fight for dominance. I cleanse the mess. I bring balance to these childish quarrels, and expel those who have lost the privilege to live. I am Pallas. I am the bounty hunter.'

For those who remember Kronos it will come as no surprise that I have once again ventured into the large scale realm. This is the second part of my

, a 7 part MOC series. The 7 models will all be created for separate elements, so that at the end all 7 can stand next to eachother (and yes make appearances at Brickfair is the plan)

Today I finally present not a 4th remake of Kronos, but Pallas, a bounty hunter. Obviously this is not how Pallas was in mythology, but once I started building it just turned into this.

Also I know I originally teased Halcyon to make a reveal in September... yeah that's not going to happen, I'm completely out of white parts and this character ended up being born instead as the character for 2014. Right now he's just a head.

Anyway, here she is.

(yeah I kinda started to run out of parts and had to make some sacrifices...once I have more gold, problems will be amended)

As with Kronos, who know where Pallas will go from here. His evolution was a drastic change across the time I spent modifying him, and to this day I have changed planned for him. Pallas will likely follow a similar path.

As always, please do leave your feedback, all feedback is taken into consideration so that I continue to modify and improve upon these designs.

Wow! That skirt is awesome! Bet you're glad you got the summer sets early! . I love the body, and the tire-legs are great! I'm having trouble with the face, what were you going for there? I think the two gold shell that flare out are throwing me off. I love the hair though! The lower arms are also kinda lanky, but I love everything else! Awesome work!

Really good stuff, I always really like your large scale models VBBN. Really nice idea to use the cocoon parts as part of the skirt. The only thing that would be better (as you actually say in the original post) would be to add more gold (and trans-blue/azure as well) to the areas lacking in these colours, namely the lower limbs (well, I don't really like the tyres on the legs either but that's just my personal preference, I've never really liked tyres being used on action figures using mostly CCBS anyway, and in this case the skirt does work with them  )

This makes my attempts at large scale figures look a little paltry though :look: but this has given me inspiration to go back to my own large-scale monster and mod it some more  I look forward to what you come up with next. Excellent stuff!

Not fond of the skinny elbows or tire shins at all, but the head is pretty cool. It's impressive that a construct this large can even stand on its own though, props for that.

Simply fantastic; that skirt is excellent! One of the few things that I dislike about it is the skinny elmbows, but the rest of the model looks incredibly well put together. Looks like you've made some good use out of your summer sets' pieces! :D

(the head is also genius)

Thanks everyone!

To respond to a few points a lot have brought up, firstly the tires- Yes, I hate them too. This is a similar case the the second version of kronos- Tires were placeholders for what would be changed to parts at a later date and that is the same case here. I'm essentially out of gold and black shells, so for now the tires are just temporary tops to her boots. As I get more parts, those will be changed (I want to slim her shins down a bit, but right now it's a mess under those tires)

The elbows being thin is the same case, I'm simply out of parts but wanted to get the first iteration of her out there. (Otherwise it'll be months until I actually get around to modifying her more)

You can like expect to see some modifications nearer to christmas.

Just a curious question, about how many pieces would you say went into this MOC?

That's difficult to say. I estimate Kronos is near 700-800 when you consider the amount of technic components within him, and this figure is slightly less complicated/bulky so probably close or a bit less than that.

Not fond of the skinny elbows or tire shins at all, but the head is pretty cool. It's impressive that a construct this large can even stand on its own though, props for that.

I am pleasantly surprised how well she ended up standing when all was said and done, considering her sort of heel-like design to her boots and the fact that she has much smaller feet than Kronos does. (In fact she stands a lot better than kronos, but his body is really quite massive)

Just awesome creation! I love everything about Pallas, especially torso and scabbard. Head and skirt are really nice too. Well-made MOC.

Awesome work ! How tall is she? She seems larger than even the tallest of my MOCs. From the picture I'd guess that she's at least 70 centimeters (2 feet 4 inches) tall. I also love the way you incorporated the IfB cocoons and the shape and structure of the head is far more original than any I've come up with. The use of the Chima armor addons is a NPU. The torso and especially the legs also seem very cohesive, although the Bionicle joint seems out of place. The weapons also seem awkwardly small, although I love the use of the Queen Beast wings as hair: it looks remarkably fitting for the character. The feet seem quite small though.
