My video got canned by LEGO.

Yeah that was the first place I looked, don't know why lego has to take down city sets that are already out there.

Though once something is on the net, it can not be totally rid of......just search on Goggle Images "Lego City 2015" and you'll find some of them.

Thanks found what I was after.

These cars without doors - why is TLC making them? They look so odd. The trucks from 60081 and 60082 would be so nice with some real doors.

The 60084 motorbike transport looks to be a great set, but the car is pretty blocky. I wonder why they didn't a bit more detail on that. Otherwise a decent set.

I'm late, but nevertheless thank you all very much for the prelims, the final pictures and all the information! :classic:

I'm not interested in the Swamp Police since firstly they look too kiddish and secondly they are too similar to the Forst Police sets. :hmpf:

The demolition site sets look quite ok to me - although I'd have prefered a regular construction site.

Now to the "civlian" sets:

The stranbuggy transporter (esp. the trailer) is much too big and blocky. :hmpf_bad:

The speedboat with transporter looks boring. :hmpf:

I'm completely disappointed that the City Starter Kit contains only fire, emergency and police. In contrast I hoped for some sort of City Minifigure collection - like the one from 2009, but bigger and with some vehicles. Don't get me wrong: the included vehicles are (apart from the emergency heli) very well designed - but it's a pity that none of them is civilian themed.

Pickup Tow Truck With Car: :classic:

Con:

- pickup looks to wide (esp. with those massive wheels)

- no car doors in the pickup

- white instead of blue roof to the blue car

- no place to place a second minifigure in the blue car although there'd be place for that

- torso of civilian is overused

Pro:

+ civilian car and minifigure included

+ blue car with car doors

+ civilian car with roof (and not a cabriolet of which I slowly get tired)

Motorcycle Transporter:

Con:

- no back door in the car

- too wide trailer

Pro:

+ excellent new motorcycle

+ nice new minfigure torso

+ great designed car

+ car doors

The Fire Starter Kit is great - a small price for a lot of stuff: four minifigures, a burning fuel dispenser and a fire quad.

Demolition Truck:

Con:

no back door in the car

Pro:

+ great new orange torso

+ car doors

+ trailer with mobile toilet is a great idea

+ a lot of accessory

+ crane

+ side walls at the back of the car

Snowplow:

Con:

too wide orange "shovel"

Pro:

amazing design

For me the three best City sets in the first half of 2015 are definately the fire starter kit, the demolition truck and the snowplow.

Can anyone tell me if any of the sets we have seen pictures of so far contain minifigs with both beards and eyeglasses? (not sun glasses, eyeglasses)

Thanks 'amazingbricks' for the links........cool more new torsos and that half track truck is awesome !

Ouch, that was my wallet !

No problem, i like the new dark tan hats and i especially like how they are using the wiley fusebot/ prospector beard piece.

Wow, I can't believe the number of new torso design we are getting for City next year.......the female torso in the jeep/dune buggy is a white top, jewellery and green jacket...whew some thing different for a change !

Plus she is the mechanic as well !

Note also the branding in Lego City is expanding......Octan of course, plus CB.....that's City Bank but now Tele which has an old school telephone receiver in it's logo.....no need to guess what that one means.

edit - on closer inspection.....the new construction helmets actually have the ear protectors permanently attached....one whole piece design.

I really agreed with Klaus-Dieter on the police city sets ...... its to kiddish . the city line its a lot better when it get closed to reality , and the designs are more realistic . like the bulldozer its amazing !!!!! , cant wait for the airport and airplanes season .

I don't feel that they are too kiddish those swamp police sets......for me many of the vehicles for excellent value for money builds, but that's just my opinion.

Now I find it strange that TRU in the USA has only the snow plow listed and that's it.....gee, can't be much of a Black Friday this year ?

Nice to see that the crocodiles tail moves as well as the jaws and that you can get it in the £10 set much cheaper than the two bears have been to get. If lego keep given us an animal each year my hope of building a zoo could live on.
