I'm moving abroad and so I'm going to have sell the few modulars I've accumulated. What's the best way to do it? Should I ebay or try via forum like this one? I have the Pet Shop, the Parisian Restaurant (which I love) and two bike shop sets that I'd like to sell as one 'lot'.

The only City set I'm interested in is the 60092 sub, and look what I've found today: there's an offer this week in Germany at supermarket "real", it's 19.99€ instead of 29.99€ :classic:

Hi, my dear friends.

14 Minifigs in this set!!! And the biggest amount of details in all City Summer 2015 collection - 1683 details.

Hello fellow AFOL friends,

I recently wrote a review of 60077 Space Starter Set. I've always been a huge fan of anything related to Space exploration so when I saw the new Lego City Space sets I had to buy a couple of them.

Given the abundance of photos (I tried to show every single angle of the set) I posted it on my blog.

If you think the review can be useful I can try to post a shorter (and with few less photos) version here on the site.

This is actually my first review so I hope I didn't forget anything important or talked too much about less important things lol :classic:

Anyway here is my

Lego 60077 Space Starter Set review

Like I said this is my first review so let me know if I did something wrong :classic:

Let's the Lego Space Program to reach new horizons :classic:

I have just reviewed the amazing set 60097 - CITY Square on HispaBrick Magazine's website.

Thanks for the review. However, we don't allow off-site reviews in topics of their own (feel free to write a full review for EB :classic: ), so I've merged this with the City 2015 discussion thread.

Personally I recon the set stickers from the big yellow truck from a while back are much better looking than the ones in the City Square...

Its not printing vs stickers, its that the detail in the yellow truck stickers happens to be better (IMO) than the detail in the tiles in this new set.

True, but usually it's people who want printed parts and those who don't.

Now in this set, the items are on shelves and you only need simple outline detailing on them to see what they are meant to be.......that's how I do a lot of my stickering.

Hi Guys,

I have just reviewed the amazing set 60097 - CITY Square on HispaBrick Magazine's website.

Two of the main news of the sets are the new employee minifig and the new printed tiles with LEGO sets

Enjoy it!

He has an incredibly white chest for a yellow figure

Itmight be a white T-shirt, that he is wearing under his yellow sweater...

Just pass local ToyRus today and saw the new CITY Square set. Glad that they add two different mini buidings, unlike the last version which copied the two similar stores. It's a good combination from the previous city corner and transport station.

The new LEGO clerk torso looks great. But I feel like the two retro theme real-human-size figures in a "toy store" don't look right. ElsaS's hairpiece for a young girl looks weird to me.

This is my sunny review of the new LEGO City Spaceport: Ready for takeoff. :classic:

Nice review Zusammengebaut. And a very pleasant voice over. :-) Brick on!

Thank you all very much for the (links to the) reviews, the videos, pics, links and information! :classic:

The deep sea exploration vessel's interior is much more accurate than I would have feared - we're even getting two beds downstairs!

The City Square still is and stays one of the best City sets ever!

I know that it's already a bit early - but according to Lego City 2016:

1.

On the sign on the tram stop in 60097 there is a sticker which has "harbor" as a tram stop on it. Might this be a hint for next year's harbor set(s)? If so: Do you think that harbor will get its own subtheme (like it was in 2011) or "only" a mega set like 60097?

2.

Since we got a snow plow this year, my predictions for next year's Great Vehicles are:

- pisten bully

- street sweeper (the last big one was released in 2010 in the PTC)

- small car

3. Fire is for sure one of next year's themes. I bet that there even will be a police subtheme - supposably some special forces (like in 2013). But which other themes could be there? Imo very likely Harbor (or at least this as a mega set). Personally I hope that there won't be a Coast Guard theme. But a mountain rescue theme is since long overdue! What about Farm?

What do you think?

I just built 60095 (Deep Sea Exploration) and really enjoyed the build as well as the look of the finished product. I usually spend my money on creator expert sets or mocs, not City sets, so ended up being very pleasantly surprised when I got this as a gift and realized how much fun it was - brought back great memories of the old Divers sets although i think this new line is an improvement, feels very realistic!

Anyone know if/when these sets are avaliable outside LEGO stores and TRU? Like Target? Asking because neither the Target or Wal-Mart near has the new City sets. There's no TRU around where I live.

Though the City Square set is detailed, the only part I really like is the little coffee shop (especially the barista lady and the Coffee Chain sign). The rest of the set is pretty cool, but not really to my tastes.

I'm seriously considering asking Lego's Customer Support if I can buy a spare sticker sheet, instead of having to shell out $190 for it. Then I'll just wait for when the barista lady becomes more available and I'll probably Brinklink the parts. The decoration on her torso is fantastic.

I would be willing to bet that City in 2015 includes at least one helicopter.

City has had helicopters in its sets every year since it started :)

I'd love if LEGO releases a city subtheme called City 1920's with buildings, cars and citizen from that decade

Thanks for the info Klaus!
