Talking about long over dew set , where is the gas station ? With so many cars .........

Fingers crossed maybe, just maybe it's the two other choices from about four/five years for the TRU exclusive set that the world was allowed to vote for......dam, it wasn't the truck stop then but what about now eh ?

We must play the waiting game.

From the Czech site that had a name for it. Check out the quote in this post: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=97734&st=375#entry2085239

For some reason, the poster removed this line from his original post. Perhaps a hint that it's not a town square after all?

In any case, I sure hope it's not a remake of the 2013 set, as was the case with the City Corner set.

Hopefully some new moulded sea animals :shark:

We have seen pictures of that new robot shark so maybe the big shark mold will come back, I really hope so with better eyes this time as we are not getting a jaws ideas set.

Well, I hope it's not a reboot of something that is not even two years old......seriously.

Could be a row of buildings.....yes, please how long have we been waiting for more buildings in the city range ?

Edit - in English.......

Náměstí ve městě

means "square in city"......I think, well that's what Google says.

Well from the listing provided, the second half of 2015 is looking better than the first half IMO, so hopefully photo's will prove this!

And I'm on the other fence, first half is better than the second.....not into space or deep sea really, cash and interest not there for it.

Though it would be interesting to see what the designers have come up with.......but 60097 and 60098 depending on what they are...well....

Funny thing to note is the price difference between Australia and the USA is smaller.......average between five and ten dollars a set......though oddly enough the 19.99 GV's in the US are 29.99 in Oz, the swamp police station in the US is 89.99 and 99.99 in Oz......doesn't make much sense, except they'll make more money from GV;s than police stations. :sceptic:

Easy, I'll buy them when they are on sale, unless I can't wait that long.....

I find it weird that the recent batch of sub-themes marked as "City" (such as Forest Police, Arctic, Mining, Farm, Swamp Police, and now Space Exploration and a Divers revamp) all take place somewhere that's obviously NOT IN A CITY. It's like the City theme is becoming a dumping ground for the one-year, conflict-driven sub-themes that used to fall under the "Play Theme" umbrella. There's no cohesion to any of it anymore.

A remake of Divers has some potential. I have very fond memories of the Divers theme, and still have a bunch of those sets. Divers came out during the darkest days of "Town Jr," and actually offered some interesting set designs and builds.

Labeling that stuff as City is a good thing from where I sit since there are retailers who have sales sometimes where the discount applies specifically to City sets and not other things which means the discount covers Arctic etc too.

I was hoping the space sets would be classic style but since they're city they'll probably look like the 2011 sets.

Depending on how old you are what do you consider "Classic Space"? Because if you think we are going to ever get a wave of futuristic space exploration sets I have some bad news for you. ;)

Glad to see the City Space subtheme coming back!

I also love the return of the "Diving" theme. Back in 1998, I got one of those for Christmas:

Maybe in Christmas 2015 I'll get another one with (hopefully) some cool new moulds!

The stingray is one of the few LEGO animals I don't own yet.

This is a new great chance!

I agree with you, but part of me is hopeful because I don't see things like "Insectoid Battle" in the following list from just2good:

LEGO City Explore 60077 Astronaut Starter Set

LEGO City Explore 60078 Landing Craft

LEGO City Explore 60079 Shuttle Trasport

LEGO City Explore 60080 Space Station

Fingers crossed but feet on he ground. :)

There is a space station? How did I miss that?

However the other things don't sound like "Classic Space", they sound like typical Space Port space theme, they are in the City theme. So it will a truck with a shuttle on it and a little lander. I do like how they aren't repeating the same sets from the last time.

Either way Space and Underwater makes me very happy!

These 2 sets are probably going to have the most speculation about them until pictures appear!

Some more great news (coming not from me)!

In May a new (Creator) fairground set - 10247 Ferries Wheel - is going to be released. In contrast to the Winter theme which really went down, I really like it that TLG expands on the fairground stuff! A ferries wheel will for sure be amazing and fit very well with the Fairground Mixer from 2014. And very likely there'll be some stands included, too. I hope for a candy stand and / or a sausage stall. Well, let's see. But anyway great news!

This is wonderful news! I was dreaming of a ferris wheel. I wonder if it folds onto a truck like the mixer did. Together with the WV carousel that's enough to create a fun fair. Bumper cars would make it perfect. Maybe 2016?
