Okay, so that ship appears to have another new boat haul piece......but my gut says also that is the new Explore dive ship......toy fair will show us, well more likely NY Toy Fair.

That story will continue....I'm going to miss the original triple team of crook clowns we had in the beginning. :sadnew:

Thank you very much for the picture of the new diver, lightningtiger, and for the picture of the possible 60095 Deep Sea Research Vessel, just2good! :classic:

About the new diver:

I'm not that fascinated by him because imo he could have a bit more light colors (like he is now, he looks a bit too dark). But apart from that he seems to be quite ok.

About the possible deep sea research vessel:

On the one hand I'm a bit sceptical about the width of the ship: It seems as if there are 8 2x1x2 windows in the front. Plus minimum one brick place on both sides makes in total an 18 bricks wide ship. For that it only has a bridge and an elevator for the diver's cage and a small boat this seems a bit too big.

On the other hand at 0:02 you can see that the captain wears a new torso. That speeks for the movie showing actually a real set. As well as I think it might be possible that there is a submarine not shown in the movie with can be lifted by the elevator instead of the diver's cage. For a sumarine a wide elevator and ship would be necessary.

So let's see. But if this would really be the real set, I "fear" I won't be able to resist to buy it!

The only think which disturbs me so far is that the bridge seems open at its back.

Btw: Happy new year!

Loving the look of that diving ship... The original Divers theme was one of my favourites so I can't wait for the new version!!

2015 looks like it's going to be an expensive year for me!!!

Great minifigure but I don't like the short sleeves on this one!

Thank you! I went "The torso is nice, not crazy detail like the Chima ones" and then went "Why is the guy n short sleeves and black gloves?"

I'm hoping, probably in vain, that the short sleeves are only for the cube because it looks stupid at best.

Personally I don't find the boat interesting at all, I agree with Klaus-Dieter it's too wide and and not long enough, or maybe it's just because I'm not too fond of boats, I'm eager to see how the rest of the line looks like though.

I had no interest in the divers line, until I saw that pic. It looks like a detailed realistic version of a research vessel, and that is something I must have. And maybe a submarine to go with it.

Does anyone else think that there's a slim chance that the new space sets might have a classic space influence? The lack of conflict in classic space mean it's not really suited to modern space themes but could be a good fit for the 'city explore' line.

I'm not getting my hopes up though, it'll probably deliver a white space shuttle and a space port with a giant <insert that tiresome argument> rocket or two along with a couple open vehicles.

If City Expore is a new ongoing sub-theme to City then one hopes that it will include more than space and deep water diving......though City has been going through it's A&E phase....mining, logging, tow trucks, now polar exploration and 2015......a Discovery Channel feel with space and diving........what's next Nat Geo Wild ?

The new ship looks very good to me. I was a huge fan of the original divers sets and would welcome a return of that theme if it's well designed.

In particular, I think http://brickset.com/...Deep-Sea-Refuge is one of the better town sets ever.

With the exception of the Pirates theme, Lego ships in general tend to be significantly undersized. To me, a larger hull size is a much better scale, provides more customization options, and offers more playability.

My only concern is the length of the ship. One problem with previous Lego town ship hulls (post 1979) is the inability to customize the length.

If Lego can address that concern, they'll have a winner.

Sorry if this has already been covered, but when is 60073 (truck/porta potty) supposed to be available in the US? I see it on the UK S@H, but not on the US site, not even coming soon. When I went to the store yesterday, they had no idea....Thanks!

I would also like to know about the port-a-potty :)

It's a demolition set, so we'll see it March 1st here, on LEGO S@H.

I can't answer your question, but I can tell you it's a great build and a great little set for the money. Hope it crosses the pond soon!

Thank you! I am unreasonably excited about it.
