alexsplanet Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 (edited) Hi friends, I am presenting speed build review of new Lego City 2015 Bulldozer. Edited January 5, 2015 by alexsplanet Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Another fine video. I wasn't expecting to see those inner wheels. Can it still move over it's tracks without them like in the 2009 larger version, 7685 Dozer, or are those wheels absolutely necessary to tun the tracks? Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Yes, I agree....another awesome video review.......and I think to give this one a realistic feel Lego used the smaller track pieces which would mean it would require some help to drive and to steer. Thanks for the video review 'alexsplanet' ! Quote
alexsplanet Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 (edited) Thanks for your comments, the inside wheels are not necessary, but with them itn can run on slippery surface. Edited January 5, 2015 by alexsplanet Quote
Rob1321 Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Are the 2014 city sets retired already? I can't see them in the lego shop? The train station and cargo train to be specific. Quote

alexsplanet Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Here is a speed build review. There is a very interesting destroying mechanism in this set. Have a look at it in this video. Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Thanks for the info. I had a hunch that was their main purpose, but as I haven't had any experience with these tracks, I wasn't sure Quote
mbnz Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 60098 Metro MDP is named "Heavy Haul Train" on Brickset...? Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 60098 Metro MDP is named "Heavy Haul Train" on Brickset...? Could it have a tie into the City Explore sub-theme.....say rocket transporter ? I hope for another freight train though. Quote
legopiratelord Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I'm not a fan of the short sleeves on the divers, as they limit them to warm water and I was hoping to get some divers to go ice diving and carry out under water research at my Antarctic base. I suppose swapping the arms for long sleeves shouldn't be terribly difficult if I can find some matching colors, but it would have opened the divers up to more uses if they had long sleeves. I'm sure Lego is eager to show off their new short sleeves design though. Quote
TheLegoPerson9 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 So, since the Swamp Police Starter Set, Demoltion Starter Set, and the Fire Starter Set all have a vehicle in them, I wonder if/what the Space Starter Set and the Deep Sea Starter Set will have vehicles/what vehicles they will have. I'm thinking maybe a little moon buggy for the Space one but I have no idea what the other one could have. In addition, I wonder if we might see any new aquatic animals in the deep sea theme. On a side note, I'm really likng the Swamp Police theme for this year. I know police sets come out every year(and that could be because of sales) but I really like the sub-theme, especially set 60071. Quote

*thomas* Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Wow, 2015 will be an expensive year for me! I was so looking forward to the TLW line-up, but the second wave of CITY sets seems to be great as well. I was a HUGE fan of the DIVERS theme (as someone already mentioned, they were the only decent sets that offered a lot of detail in the '00). I'm wondering if they will unclude underwater landscapes again. I have to agree that the ship is wide, but this makes it look realastic IMHO. Problem is that it will look huge when compared to other sets, especialy buildings. Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I'm getting a bit of a sinking feeling that this years Great Vehicles are less of a challenge than ones from other years......point to note the 4x4 with dune buggy I had it all done in under twenty minutes including part sorting, etc.,. Does anyone else feel the same about this years GV's ? Quote
*thomas* Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 @LT, I'm will be picking up the snow plow (60083) and 60073 (if they have it) right after work, will let you know. Asides from these two, there is not really a vehicle that captures my attention. I haven't build any of the 2014 sets, but they did not seem any better... Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Take the heavy wrecker from last year, lots of brick building in it. Now the set this year which has impressed me has been the bulldozer.....such a great and realistic build. Quote

lightningtiger Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Damn! Another expensive year... Yep, it's a 140 GBP or 280 AUD.....as much as a freight train, but with all those buildings and vehicles are prayers have almost been answered. The Coffee Chain in it......sounds like the coffee shop from The LEGO Movie.....overpriced coffee ! Quote
danimarroquin Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Damn can't wait for the random pics , since they are not allow to take any over there ! Quote
