Peasantseverywhere Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 TheBrickShow just made a review on a deep sea set we haven't even seen pictures of yet ! It looks fantastic, I presume it's a retail exclusive set :) Quote
SMC Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 ^ Once again a set I want half of. Lego get to make so many small sets why waste a big set by just making a few small things together. Also its an underwater line so do we need a plane why not a big base with a big sub? Maybe have all 4 side to the base and have it open like it does. Another city set I wont get as it has too much I don't want. Quote

legobear Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Can't wait to see that review. To Lago, you kept those images long enough :P. The one thing I don't like about the undersea station is that it doesn't have glass to separate the inside from the outside where the docking station is - it's like he's simply breathing through gills or something. SMC Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 ^ yeah me too, that's the second problem for me after the plane I don't need. Quote
Vorkosigan Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Can't wait to see that review. To Lago, you kept those images long enough :P. He didn't, they were posted in this thread many weeks ago after the toy fairs. Quote
Zusammengebaut Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Hello, I have finished my review of the new LEGO City Town Square (Set 60097). There is so much to explore: I really like the tram and the Lego Store. And many other parts. And here you can find images of this very interesting set: http://ukonio.de/lego-city-town-square-2015-set-60097-zusammengebaut-bildergalerie-54211/ The review by the way is in german. jonwil Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 (edited) The "LEGO Set" stickers aren't as nice looking as the ones in the LEGO big-rig truck from a few years ago IMO. The green Futuron guy looks nice although I do wish the pattern was closer matching to the original Futuron design (but I can understand why there might be technical and business reasons they cant/wont do that) Can anyone tell me (based on this photo http://ukonio.de/leg...54211/?pid=2486 ) if any of the heads are new? (either new in this set or new for 2015) If anyone has an Australian RRP for the set, that would also be nice (not that I will be paying RRP for it :) Edited May 15, 2015 by jonwil Quote
Robert8 Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Hello, I have finished my review of the new LEGO City Town Square (Set 60097). Brick on! Cool review! I didn't understand a single word but anyway The LEGO Store and the barista girl are the best parts, IMO Quote
kwulfe Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Brillant review! Many thx for this. This set is a quite good addition for a town plan. But I won't buy it cause it looks to much as a set designed for children and because the tracks for the tram are missing. Maybe I can't resist when I see it with 30% discount ;-). Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 If anyone has an Australian RRP for the set, that would also be nice (not that I will be paying RRP for it :) Are you sitting down........$ 250, seriously that's the retail price in AUD. Quote
